I thought I'd take the mickey out of waltz violinist Andre Rieu because he is so popular in Australia that every music store has a massive big shelf with several rows of Andre Rieu CDs and DVDs and in one store, the owner had one of his concert DVDs playing almost every single day for 3 years straight!!! And from what I seen of that concert, the majority of the fans are over 50 dressed in conservative fashion and look like church goers, so I thought I'd write this parody in dedication to Andre Rieu and his fans for a bit of fun.

Those old folks didn’t like our sound

I am always struck by the similarities between Rieu's group and the Johann Strauss (The Younger) Orchestra. I think Rieu is a good thing...and so is this parody. ;D
