(verse 1)
Computer Hack
That's a fact
Work so hard to make the trojan horses stack
Yes, Virus loose
Harddrive's juice
Watching you screen moving all about
Fear it's gonna die
My modem frys
Geek crys
Make them kick and scream like a little child

(Chorus)
I'm gonna, Hack
Yes, Hack
Well I'll, Hack
Yes, Hack
Well I'll, Hack, Hack
I'll Computer Hack
Yes, Computer Hack

(verse 2)
Computer Hack
Code Crack
Loser with a mullet, how bout that?
Drink Tang
Play a game
Norton ran away from me when I gave a rang
I'm a pain in the crack
Don't know Jack
But I've got a linux on my lap
Don't have a cow
I'm just huntin my prey
Adaware won't save your butt, it just gets in the way

(Chorus)
I'm gonna, Hack
Yes, Hack
Well I'll, Hack
Yes, Hack
Well I'll, Hack, Hack
I'll Computer Hack
Yes, Computer Hack

I'm gonna, Hack
Yes, Hack
Well I'll, Hack
Yes, Hack
Well I'll, Hack, Hack
I'll Computer Hack
Yes, Computer Hack

Well I'll, Hack, Hack
I'll Computer Hack
Yes, Computer Hack

I forgot two lines that appear after "Fear it's gonna die". Here they are: "All just from one guy Dont so much damage money couldn't buy"

(SOTM) AC/DC and computers...this must have come out while I was away on the holidays! I enjoyed this, as I could easily relate. The pacing was slightly off on paper in a few places (the title has an extra syllable, for example), but when I sang it out loud, I was usually able to fit your lyrics in without problems. So, great job, and good luck!

(SOTM) OK my fellow AC/DC contestant-user, here's my fair rating and a bit of constructive criticism to go with it (I'm playing the CD on my PC right now): First, what Jeff said about the title, it wouldn't have hurt to shorten it to "'Puter Hack". For some reason it doesn't fit as bad as the one extra syllable looks on paper (I'll say it has to do with Brian's singing technique, the first syllable often being more of a outstretched growl than a clear prefix) so lets say the chorus is around a 4.5 (that means something like a possible 5 on a regular day but 4 here in the big comp in fairness to that there are some actuall full fledged 5s in it). The verses are a bit uneven and doesn't always flow that well, I'll hold them as being in the 3 – 4 range most of the time with some 5s. Still there's some sort of red line through it so it could work at karaoke. Also, since you didn't use the "repeat chorus technique" in the end you could have thrown in some more rhyming substitutes for "black", I mean with this theme you practically get words like "Mac", "knack", "track" etc for free. :-)
4-4-4 and I'd like to se more.

(sotm) You wrote a computer virus parody without the "I Love You" virus, good job.

(SOTM) I agree with all of Know1's comments.

(SOTM) Seconded, and you needed more theme-related puns.

Since you refer to this as your pride, I worry about offering constructive feedback for fear of discouraging you. But K1CHYD's comment is right on the money. I played the original along as I was reading this and I stumbled on the pacing a few times; I'm sure you could spend some time editing it and have it match up perfectly. I write my parodies elsewhere and only paste them into the Amiright submission form once I've reviewed and rereviewed them; that prevents mistakes like the one you point out in your initial comment. With all of that said, your concept and title sub are great ideas, and the "loser with a mullet" line is hilarious.

Not bad, ditto what everyone else said.

(SOTM) -DKTOS, but I'll chime in with agreement to those who suggested changing the repetitive words - it's just a lot more fun and serves to stimulate the reader's funny-bone and brain when you can come up with some clever alternatives to otherwise pedestrian choruses. But I liked your idea and it didn't read badly.

(brief pause) 5!.... 5-5-5!.... 5-5-5! Despite a really bad tummy ache, I burst into hysterical laughter while reading this! You really should record it. There are 24 songs for SOTM, but I didn't get to this one in time for it to be in my top three. Rock on, Mate! For those about to hack, we salute you!

Yep, agree to all the repetitive comments (at the risk of being repetitive!). Good one though DD!

I do like DC parodies - this is kind of fun, but I agree with pretty much everyone else here - I'm sure you can make it better, if you think about it :-)

Some good lines ("Pain in the crack/don't know jack). Well done, Dusty.

Quite a fun and funny parody, Dusty. I also liked "Pain in the crack/Don't know Jack" and I like it even more if it was indeed a reference to 'You Don't Know Jack', still one of the top social computer games in my view.
