The Lyrics

I've been holding on to this one for a while so that I could post it between Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. It is also my entry in the Song of the Month of December contest.
We're here to vent
All our discontent
Woe, woe

Ouch!

Stand up at your counters
For now we are about to complain
You are the dealers
That sold us Christmas evening pain
Hell No to your sales pitch
That Rudolph must have missed a bit
We won't be leavin', take your shit
We're still asking friendly, bitch!

For us with broken gifts, will receipt do?
For us with broken gifts, will receipt do?

We queued at dawn at your front door
With a wallet ready to bleed
We're crying poor, so refund the score
Heads will roll in here indeed!

For us with broken gifts, will receipt do?
For us with broken gifts, will receipt do?
For us with broken gifts, will receipt do?
(No it won't!)
For us with broken gifts, won't receipt do?
Uh! Huh!?

Ouch!
Ouch!

Don't give us "battery is tired, warranty's expired"
Beady eyes'a lame excuse
Pick up your dough, and them over you hand
You old, pitiful bag of douche!

For us with broken gifts - Sire!
Will receipt do?
For us with broken gifts - (Crash!)
Will receipt do?
For us with broken gifts - Sire!
Will receipt do?
Ouch!

Sire!
Wiiiiiiiill Receeeeeeeeipt Doooooooo?

Will receipt do?

For us with broken gifts, will receipt do?
For us with broken gifts, will receipt do?
For us with broken gifts, will receipt do?
For us with broken gifts, will receipt do?

Shite! (Crash!)
Shite! (Crash!)

Shite! (Crash!)
Shite! (Crash!)

From us with crap, to you who gained
Your Christmas price will cost you more than pain
Now we loathe you!
Yeah!

Will receipt do?
Will receipt do?
Will receipt do?

(Crash!) (Crash!) (Crash!) (Crash!) (Crash!)

Sire!?

(CRASH!)

(SOTM) This parody was not up to the quality I expected, I want a refund! Waddaya mean "You read it, you bought it?"

Great concept, Peter, with some great subs for the original. I especially liked your sub for "Stand up and be counted." And kudos for "wallets ready to bleed." This would make a helluva video, as long as the store explodes at the end. Explosions are cool.

Missed this first time around - I can definitely hear Brian Johnson singing this (it was the first DC single I bought). And very witty, Claude :-)

It's a long way to the line if you wanna get your dough! Broken toys bought dirt cheap! Highway to retail Hell! You really shook the toys all night long. For those about to parody AC/DC... I salute you! 5-5-5, Mate! Keep playing that SG plugged into a Marshall while wearing short schoolboy pants on stage.

Hilarious subs, man. Seriously funny stuff. The only thing even relatively weak about it is the refrain, and I couldn't think of anything better when I tried. Excellent use of one of my favorite ACDC songs.
