The Lyrics

Note: This song parody took me MONTHS to write. i stopped outta frustration and lack of inspiration. I finished it and and well now here it is. It starts from now/future release of rides and goes right to the very beginning. there is not really a specific order. just as many rides and shows and celebrations i could name.
Expedition Everest can't forget Mission: Space
Philharmagic, Magic Carpets, HM Movie sets

Soarin' Over, Dino-Rama, Saratoga, and then Wishes
Rock 'N' Roller, celebratin' Disney's one-oh-oh

Goosebumps Horrorland, Test Track and DinoLand
Ellen's new Energy, two-five Anniversary

Walt Disney World's Speedway, the new Cirque Du Soleil
Herc's a "Hero", K. Safari, and Fantasmic that night

We didn't start the fire
People have been going
Since the World's been opened
We didn't start the fire
Though we might've sparked it
We sure haven't lost it

Test Track's stallin', Tower drops down on Sunset Boulevard
Innoventions, Muppetvision, Spectromagic

Old Key, and Dixie, Alien Encounter
Splash Mountain falls, and the 20th

Take Flight, Norway, MGM with Echo Lake
'lluminations, now Starland where they changed from Birthdayland

P.I., Yacht and Beach, EPCOT's Wonders of Life
Movie's scenes, Living Seas, Sorcery in the Sky

We didn't start the fire
People have been going
Since the World's been opened
We didn't start the fire
Though we might've sparked it
We sure haven't lost it

Future World, Canada, Mickey's Six-Oh, and China
The Land, Mexico and then check Morocco

Horizons, Spaceship Earth, after see Communicore
Universe, Indie Jones, surfs up at Typhoon Lagoon

Carribean, Japan, Germany, close to France
The 15th, UK, 50's Prime-Time Cafe

Eight-two, EPCOT C., World Showcase with the U.K.
The Dreamfinder, Figment, go check out Italy

We didn't start the fire
People have been going
Since the World's been opened
We didn't start the fire
Though we might've sparked it
We sure haven't lost it

Big Thunder Mountain, talkin' World of Motion
Very Merry Christmas celebration

The Main Street Electrical, the Neon Armadillo
River Country, and Mickey turns 50

Cannot take a break, these rides will turn out real great
Parody 'bout Disney, what else do I have to say?

We didn't start the fire
People have been going
Since the World's been opened
We didn't start the fire
Though we might've sparked it
We sure haven't lost it

Irvin boat, Space Mountain located in Tomorrowland
Pirates sec. best, Discovery Island
Jungle Cruise and P. Pan's Flight, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
20k Under Sea, checkin' out If You Had Wings

Haunted Mansion the BEST ride, created in '69
Carrousel, Cinderell, up high in Star Jets
This song's done and there's STILL more rides and shows to quench your thirst
Opened 19-7-1, on Friday October The First!

We didn't start the fire
People have been going
Since the World's been opened
We didn't start the fire
Though we might've sparked it
We sure haven't lost it

We didn't start the fire
But when we are gone
Peep's will still go on, and on, and on, and on...

555, and thanks for saving me triple $figures. This parody tells me everything I'd ever need to know about the Disney cosmos without my ever having to travel to it.

Nice one Brit. You put a ton of work in and it shows. Rhyme scheme was a bit off, but considering what you were trying to do, and what you were trying to do it with, I°d be a humble cyborg not ta gives ya 5s. Congrats on this excellent achievement.

Geez, Brit. Freaking WOW. This must've taken years to write...*glances at top of screen*...you mean you finished this in mere MONTHS? I'm amazed. The meter was off in a few places, but hardly affected the whole piece. Impressive indeed! 5's.

Wow, Brit. You obviously put a ton of work into this. And bonus points for mentioning Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

(SOTM) Drat, I've always wanted to go to Disneyland and this is a tanty-lising advert for it! A lot of effort here, good stuff!
John Jenkins - July 26, 2004 - Report this comment
Impressive parody. I agree with 2nz about the rhyme scheme, but the degree of difficulty definitely compensates for any rhyming issues.
