The Lyrics

If you said George Bush was going to lose,
That would be the greatest bit of news.
John Kerry I'll pick,
To Defeat both George and Dick.
They've been in office for too long a time.

Once I thought the Democrats were done.
Now I know the Bush team must move on.
Away we'll send them,
There's no way you can defend 'em.
They've made a mess of things; it's such a crime!

Woh-oh-oh-oh. For too long a time;
Woh-oh-oh. It's such a crime.

Say goodbye to Rumsfeld, Rice and Bush.
Then we'll boot out Cheney on his tush.
Clean out that Colin;
Time to get the voters rollin'.
Been disenfranchised for too long a time.

Maybe Bush deceived us into war.
Soldiers are dyin'; What are we there for?
I know we'll do best with JFK.
Don't you forget that Help's on the way!

Once I thought the Democrats were wimps.
Now I know the Bush team's full of pimps.
And soon we'll pound them,
Back to Texas where we found 'em.
They've really fecked up things; it's such a crime.

There's no doubt Bush lied about Iraq.
Thousands have died; But who's keepin' track?
I say we must win back the White House.
In with a flip-flop; but out with the lying louse!

Who knows how much worse that things could get?
Bush will triple the National Debt.
Don't take no chances;
Or you'll face bad consequences.
Please vote it hardly takes up any time.

Woh-oh-oh-oh. For too long a time;
Woh-oh-oh. It is such a crime.
Vo-o-ote. Hardly any time;
Go and vote. Doesn't cost a dime!

Good puns/rhymes, decent pacing, darn good message. A straight-ticket 5 vote from me!

As BJ said in another song, "After you've heard lie upon lie, there can hardly be a question of why!" Keep 'em coming! One month to go!

Excellent pacing...but TOS is called "The Longest Time." I know this is rather dated, but I just happened to come across it courtesy of the "random" link. 5/5/5.
