The point I'm trying to make here is that blind partisanship negatively affects productive debate and essentially destroys opportunities to come to a solution that will benefit everyone. Especially about the war. For those who have never heard of David Brock, he's the founder of Media Matters for America and the author of Blinded By the Right. This song features him, Sean Hannity, Alan Colmes, Ann Coulter, Al Franken, Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh, and Michael Moore arguing with each other whilst the American people look on.

What's the matter with this war we're fighting?

I can see the Jib-Jab video for this one already. Well, I see Mr.1 Iraq-n-rolled you already :-( This deserves much better.

Welcome to the Light Side of the Force, Sakura. We could always use another. As the biggest Billy Joel fan on Amiright, I always enjoy a good redo of his songs, and this works very well. OK, enough praise. It's time for some comedy. First of all, since when does Sean Hannity doubt that we're doing well in Iraq? Second of all, since when does Alan Colmes fight back that much? Third of all, since when does Ann Coulter believe in education? Well, maybe she believes in "Christian education," but then, I wouldn't call what she believes in "Christianity." Fourth of all, you don't have to worry about Coulter procreating. As much as she claims to sleep around, she's 45 (but says she's 43, and sometimes says she's 39), and doesn't have much time left to have a kid. With her luck, it would rebel and become a liberal! Then she'd think abortion isn't so bad after all, and that she should've had one! Fifth of all, Michael Savage's first remarks to David Brock would be about how he's gay, only he wouldn't put it that delicately. He truly is a savage. As for Rush, well, he now weighs less than Michael Moore. Drug addiction can do that to ya. (Unless you're Elvis.) Finally, it's appropriate that you used this song to make a political point about the right-wingers. After all, the title of the album from which the original song comes is... GLASS HOUSES!

Sean Hannity DOES believe we're doing well in Iraq. He's asking why Alan Colmes thinks there's something wrong with it. I'm noticing that Colmes is becoming a tad more assertive these days. He laid into Coulter pretty well on Wednesday. (An aside: How many times has she been on that show? 50?) Ann Coulter believes in private education in elementary and high-school, and non-Ivy-but-still-reputable education post-secondary. Even though she went to Cornell. (The baby thing goes without saying. Who would want to have HER seed passed on to their kids?) The gay thing is true, but I couldn't find any room for it. Besides, Savage's comments about Islam are just as inflammatory. He does? Really? Rush limbaugh weighs less than someone? Incredible . . .

I think you could have captured the individual personalities a bit better - they seemed pretty generic, but this was still well done and funny.
