The Lyrics

This parody is an attempt to sum up the television show, Lost, within the confines of one song. The characters and themes mentioned in it are done so in a roughly chronological-by-season fashion. The last verse of the song is purposely left out so there is something left to use for season six when that rolls around.
Jack Shephard, Kate Austen, redshirts, Johnnie Locke,
mid Pacific, Walter Lloyd, Boone's a gigolo

Steve Jenkins - no, Scott Jackson, ABC is the television.
Jin's Korean, Sun's Korean, married but things are so-so

Other Man - Ethan Rom, Aussie Claire - soon a mom,
Sawyer - con with bad eyes reads "The Catcher in the Rye"?

Let's devour all vaccines, Shannon acts like she is the queen
Marshall Eddie, TNT meet Arzst - barely knewya', goodbye

See they all are mired
But they're always learning
As their world keeps turning.
Crap! The raft's on fire.
Jin didn't light it
But no one was buying it.

Gale is stallin', Ana's tough, Alvar, and Charlie's drugs
The Hugo fellow - above the shoulders a cement block.

The Long Con, cave bones, Smoke's a meanie, Desmond
Drug plane with Boone falls, Hit "Execute" around the clock.

Tide's fine - raft's lean, the Swan's got a washing machine
Dave's a crock, the Bearded man - not so friendly, aint' Disney land

DHARMA brand - tastes best, Tallahassee, the guns theft,
Cindy without a trace, Peyton Place drama at the Hydra!

See they all are mired
But they're always learning
As their world keeps turning.
If Sayid has his plyers.
Sawyer won't like it
And he'll try to fight it

The Black Rock, the Para dock, Marvin Candle, Cooper's whacked
Eko's stick, "Wow, oh my! - Isn't that the Cheech and Chong guy?"

Others' fashions - from the mall, Tom can't throw a football,
Litteleton - Shephard - children of the same guy

Buddy Holly - record, Alpert - looks like Mafia
Keamy's troops - Don't pass "Go", Microbus on the roll.

O-6 - the rest stayed, Hoffs Drawlar and "When are they?"
Charlotte, check yer bloody nose. Whispers in the jungle!

See they all are mired
But they're always learning
As their world keeps turning.
But things are not so dire
If the jumpsuit has a tight fit
A DHARMA tailor can right it.

Head zombie - Christian, strangers in a the same land,
Jeremy Bentham, 70's pop invasion

Wizard of Oz trivia, Mourning Driveshaft-mania
The Chef - seasons "The Empire Strikes Back" again.

Walt's tall, the Ajira wreck, Widmore and Eloise had sex
Faraday blown away - what else can come by our way?

See they all are mired
But they're always learning
As their world keeps turning.
If you have an H bomb to fire
And the drop wont ignite it
Go get Juliet to strike it

As a diehard LOST fan, I approve heartily. As a diehard parodist, I have to say the pacing of a WDSTF parody is very, very tricky indeed but you got the rhymes downpat.

The author of the parody has authorized comments, and wants YOUR feedback.
