The Lyrics

Sung by Arwen, urging Aragorn to take his place in destiny
Aragorn, Every now and then I get a little bit lonely and you're never coming round
Aragorn, Every now and then I get a little bit worried about you fighting all of these years
Aragorn, Every now and then I get a little bit nervous that the man I call my lover will die
Aragorn, Every now and then I get a little bit terrified and then I see the look in your eyes
Aragorn Strider, Every day I know you're in my heart
Aragorn Strider, But every now and then I fall apart

Aragorn, Every now and then I get a little bit restless as I'm riding through the wilds
Aragorn, Every now and then I get a little bit helpless as I'm holding Frodo here in my arms
Aragorn, Every now and then I get a little bit sad to see my elven immortality die
Aragorn, Every now and then I get a little bit terrified but then I see the look in your eyes
Aragorn Strider, Every day I know you're in my heart
Aragorn Strider, Every now and then I fall apart

And they need you now to fight
And they need you more than ever
And if you'll only do what's right
We'll destroy the dark forever
And mankind will live on in the light
And that will never be wrong
Together we can take the evil out of this land
Your sword is waiting for you, take it into your hands
I don't know what to do, the evil's in the sky
If Sauron is victorious, the goodness will die
I really need you to fight
Forever we'll defend the light
Forever we'll defend the light

Once upon a time there was peace in the land
But now there's only fear of the ring
There's nothing they can do
To stop the Return of The King
Once upon a time there was light in the world
But now there's only darkness they bring
Nothing they can say
Can stop the Return of the King

INSTRUMENTAL

Aragorn Strider
Aragorn Strider
Aragorn, Every now and then I know you'll never be the man you always wanted to be
Aragorn, But every now and then I know you'll always be the only man who never tried to use the One Ring
Aragorn, Every now and then I know there's no one in the Middle-Earth who's hon'rable and noble as you
Aragorn, Every now and then I know there's no one any better, and there's nothing that you just wouldn't do
Aragorn Strider, Every day, I know you're in my heart
Aragorn Strider, Every now and then I fall apart

And they need you now to fight
And they need you more than ever
And if you'll only do what's right
We'll destroy the dark forever
And mankind will live on in the light
And that will never be wrong
Together we can take the evil out of this land
Your sword is waiting for you, take it into your hands
I don't know what to do, the evil's in the sky
If Sauron is victorious, the goodness will die
I really need you to fight
Forever we'll defend the light
Forever we'll defend the light

Once upon a time there was peace in the land
But now there's only fear of the ring
There's nothing they can do
To stop the Return of The King
Once upon a time there was light in the world
But now there's only darkness they bring
Nothing they can say
Can stop the Return of the King

Looks like a lot of work went into this one - and it paid-off handsomely. Well done. 5's

This makes me feel that Jim Steinman should have scored all the LOTR trilogy! Excellent!

Syncronos, you are my hero. I'm in the process of purging my body of all extraneous fluids so I don't have to "go" during the viewing of ROTK.

All that hard work I did killing the nazgúl, and Strider always gets all the limelight... ;-)

Jim Steinman channeling Tolkien...or vice versa? The right kind of attitude for this song, should be sung as overly dramatic as possible! :)

Verses were my favorite part, across the board. Another great. Again, heavy use of OS but made to work great for the parody
