Pacing's off, bad rhymes, and not one mention of the shark. As the Fonz himself would say, "This was not cool. Sit on it."
Not bad, I actually thought the pacing was OK considering how hard this song is (I've been trying to do one for about a month...)
It is times like these that the onomatopieoaic (if that's how it's spelt, five vowels in a row) expression 'meh' comes in handy. Nothing really wrong with this parody but it was just completely bland. 4-3-3

You don't remember me being this abrasive? Clearly, you haven't been paying attention. You think this is abrasive? With the time to beat Bush coming, as Al Pacino would say, I'm just gettin' wawmed up! Hoo-ah!
Holy crap, Jackie, you know your Happy Days. And I'm not sure how anyone could please the pacing-retentives with this - the meter of "Glory Days" is all over the place. Aaaayyy.
Jack W. Good job. I gave you 4-5-5, but that's very good with just about ANY Springstein song. Spaff - you are right about the meter here, but it's not just this song. A think a lot of Springstein's songs have awful meter. A former work colleague who just got a job in East Los Angeles asked me to write a parody using "Born In The U.S.A." about him getting a job in East L.A. - Man, I never realized how LOUSY most of the lyrics of that song really are! They mostly seem to be filler in between "The Boss" bellowing out his anthem-like chorus lyrics. But I managed to write something up that he and the other folks I used to work with really liked.
(ABC) Well, I never ever watched a single episode of Happy Days, but sadly I do have an idea of what went on on the show. As I said in an earlier ABC parody - osmosis sucks sometimes... I gave this one average votes - it was a noble effort, but just didn't do anything for me. Of course, maybe I am just in a crabby mood after attempting to download Glory Days 3 times for about 3 hours only to find the first two times that it was some other song that some bonehead on KaZaa mislabled... :-P
