The Lyrics

It's just a dumb parody idea ,okay?
She's living each day
With dark glasses on
There's no one to say
That this once was wrong
She likes 'em tan and strong

She's eatin' soul food
And she's hearin' rap
And she's not a part
Of that racist crap

She's my blue-eyed blond
And of her I'm fond

She found that once she had the black
She said she'll ne'er go back
Then she wed, ne-gro
I like a white wife, baby
She wed, ne-gro

She's ethnic inside
And she likes the blues
Got a booty-ful prow
And she's paid her dues
She doesn't read the news

We both travel the skies
But avoid the South
When we go to the store
She pays while I stay out

She's my blue-eyed bitch
And with her I feel rich

She found that once she had the black
She said she'll ne'er go back
Then she wed, ne-gro
I like a white wife, baby
She wed, ne-gro

Rick, this woman at work - VERY white, VERY Blonde, went to the store a while back with one of her co-workers here...VERY black, VERY dark, and at some point she noticed that she was the only light-skinned person in the store...felt like she was being looked at...and then realized nobody gave a damn...and THEN she felt embarrassed...but only for a moment - then she starting laughing. It's still an awkward thing for folks sometimes, but less so than in the past. Thanks for bringing it up here. 5's ~ ~ ~

A co-worker invited me to his church once. I asked if there would be other white people there, and he told me, "Oh, sure, we have every kind of person, not just black people. I went and I felt like a salt in a pepper shaker. I asked my friend, "I thought you said there were other white people here." He replied "Oh, he didn't show up". Great music though.

Rick, "Oh, he didn't show up"...LOL...I personally got used to the situation when I worked at a small Real Estate/Mortgage firm in Inglewood about 10 years back...I was the only white person there...I generally got along well with everyone and liked almost everyone there, but sometimes I had a real "left-out" feeling...particularly when the "OJ" verdict got announced and this jubilant roar and cheering went up as though the home team had scored a "Touchdown"...And it wasn't as though everyone there thought OJ was innocent...I remember one rather serious-minded and thoughtful guy there who participated in the celebration coming up to me later and confiding that he thought OJ did it...Where I work now most of the folks are Hispanic or Black, but everyone here gets along and jokes about this type of stuff. I've never detected any tension or weirdness about race or ethnicity here...fortunately...

Ooh Rick, for a moment there, I thought you were Offender stealing your good name. Interesting bit of work. It seems like everyone is trying something new as of late. 555
