warm winds blowin, feedin brushfires,
and a a road that goes forever..

been thinkn 'bout it lately,
and I've seen it on t.v
everything's a burnin,
in that locality
I was talkin to my neighhbour
and he agrees wih me,.
it's just crazy..

well my wife returns from taking
a dip in our new pool
she got beads of perspiration,
and I think she's such a fool
she said unless it gets a bit better
somebody gonna get killed down there... in Texas..
I said what?

she said Texas.. I said.. What?
they got big long fires down there

well the news has said the weather,
is really hot and dry,
and the firefighters fighting,
they're scared thay're gonna die,
they gotta get some water, I hear the folks are prayin
the skies are gonna open up and give a little rain in texas.

well I got a little brother , several metres high,
said he's lived in Texas, and the atmosphere is dry
the fires come from nothing, he was scared he's gonna die
in Texas
