The Lyrics

Since the 1990s several nations have been working on non-lethal holomorphic technologies to create "False Imagers" capable of projecting deceptive visuals over long range as in false tanks on the horizon, false aircraft in the sky, false ships at sea and so on. But for the land component and HRU work that involves CQB (Close Quarter Battle) a rifle-mounted H-MOP could thwart enemies and terrorists alike by projecting false forces that would cause them to be either drawn into an ambush or for them to shoot at the visuals and waste their ammo while SFs flank them or perform a rescue mission. The US, Britain, Germany, Russia, and China all are working on this at various levels. France leads in dazzler tech. China leads in blinding lasers. Britain leads in electronic masking for AFVs. Germany leads in optiplate soldier visual tech for their IDZ supersoldiers. And the US leads in electrochromatic deception. So holomorphics is just part of natural high-tech military progression...
There's a new projection weapon on its way
No harmful microwaves nor X-rays
It’s a brand new deception
With false visuals it throws
Deception to fool your vision
Puts on a show
Puts on a show

Combat, combat, combat, combat, combat ... Chameleon
With image throws
With image throws
Holomorphic projector deceives with what is seen
some unreal things
some unreal things

Comes in handy with CQB play
Can manipulate your thoughts- lead you astray
Life-like slideshow is deception
Identification is wrong
Off you go, what’s seen is “iffy”
Signal is strong
The range is long

Combat, combat, combat, combat, combat ... Chameleon
With image throws
With image throws
Holomorphic projector deceives with what is seen
some unreal things
some unreal things

Enemies won’t know what to expect
Ambush set-up. It’s a tech trap!

Enemies won’t know what to expect
Ambush set-up. It’s a tech trap!

It’s a brand new deception
With false visuals it throws
Deception to fool your vision
Puts on a show
Puts on a show
Combat, combat, combat, combat, combat ... Chameleon
With image throws
With image throws
Holomorphic projector deceives with what is seen
some unreal things
some unreal things

Boy, I link to this song the instant it was posted and already there are three one-bombs. You're not one-bombing yourself again, are you, Rob? ;-D

I think it's just the daily vet "Frenemy" fire ;-)

Maybe the 1's are just 5's in disguise. I could picture a scenario in which two holograms went to war with each other. Sort of giant video game. "Combat Chameleon" is a good title to describe the phenomenon. Song sort of reminds me of the video of Boy George's "War Is Stupid", which had some nicely staged battle scenes.

This was pretty good, an e.g. of RBA Jr doing what he uniquely does best. No one else could have come up with this angle. I could point out that at least one para break is needed in the intro but what's the use?

As usual, I'll abstain from voting (!!!). But if there were three one-bombs unloaded here as Lennie observed, why is there only one now? There are three commenters who could account for the 555s, but where did the other five 555s come from (he asks him knowingly)? And why is this strange phenomenon occurring consistently only on your parodies, Rob?
