The Lyrics

You all know about the original and best mad scientist, Victor Frankenstein, from Mary Shelley's novel...but this is the story of his under-achieving sibling.
Trying, like my brother, to
Create life...I'm in a stew
Knee-deep in corpses;
Confused 'bout what I should do
Screw on....arms tight
Stitch on a behind
Suitcase of extra bits,
Left over....

Some electricity;
He's walking on feet once dead!
Oh no, he's stumbling
I backwards attached his head
Igor says, "You blow...";
I guess he's right
Creature's left hand points right...

In a lab, with a book
Is where you'll find me;
Clive Frankenstein
If I fail, I'll go back to dull accounting;
Clive Frankenstein

I got the lowest grades
While at Transylvania U
The fam'ly bus'ness
Is not something I've taken to
Secrets stolen
From graves at night
Three thumbs don't seem quite right...

On the slab, try'n to hook
Up a real live thing;
Clive Frankenstein
Flick the switch: lots o' smoke;
He needs re-wiring
Clive Frankenstein

Singed hair....toes glow
Detached behind
It's time that I resigned

In a lab, with a book
Ain't where you'll find me;
Clive Frankenstein
An ex-mad scientist, I'm back in accounting;
Clive Frankenstein
Clive Frankenstein
Clive Frankenstein
Clive Frankly-shite

Thank you all for your votes and comments!

Arwen: you're TOO kind, sweetie. I was in full panic today coz I hadn't come up with anything. Heard OS on the radio, and came up with the idea, but only had lunch break to write the whole thing (hence rhyming "right" with "right" in verse 2)...so I'm glad that despite it's flaws, you enjoyed it.

Stirch on a behind? I hope it's a pretty one.

Time after time you come up with great parodies...especially at contest entry deadlines...talk about coolness under pressure

You and Arwen must have been sharing brainwaves. Gotta be frank with you Kristof, this isn't really one of your better writes, sure it's funny, but all of your work is, and while I might have been blow away by somebody else writing something like this I like you Kristof have set the bar too high for yourself. Now don't get me wrong, I liked this parody alot, but it doesn't come close compared to your other work. (The double accounting joke kinda ruined it for me) but the stumbling around because you screwed his head on backwards was pretty dang funny.

(Dec 2.0) Hey, I actually know this song! Well, sorta..OK, I only remember the chorus from a cover of it in the film Strictly Ballroom. Still, clever idea. Coulda done without the accountant gags, but the last time was just classic. 555 for you!

Decathlon...I've already told you how much I loved this, KR...even with your little mistakes. It's good to know you're human like the rest of us. And the fact that you wrote, in a half hour, what many couldn't write in several days...well, that speaks volumes. Excellent!

(decath) loved the title sub Kristof (and note to self: must try this OS one day) - and some great visual gags to add to your usual consistent wacky offerings like "Transylvania U" - lol - 555

Another great song here, and I loved the idea of Dr. Frankensteins younger brother. 5s.

(Dec2) I am never one to hold one's prior work against someone for contest consideration. The idea and the humor are both there, but the pacing on this one seems a bit rushed Kristof, I have to be honest because I am amongst your biggest fans--as my votes usually represent, but I don't think this one came out as well as it could have. . .Great idea, ok execution, made for an above average parody (no pun on my name intended), still after the phenomenal numbers you've put up throughout this comp, you should be proud of yourself, overlord or not, you've really dominated this whole competition. . .and I hope it's not the last time I get a chance to compete with you side by side. . .
