The Lyrics

I've been wondering how to do a tribute about the two people mentioned.....I think this fits. Though it's a little shaky, the Original song is a bit shaky itself.
I was walking to Arvada
Notebook was in my backpack
When a Ford pickup stopped on by
Forcing me to step a bit back
There were two men sitting inside
Each happy compromised
They said, "Looks like you're going
To the library, wanna ride?"

I jumped into the truck's back
They turned up the radio
And I swear that out of those speakers
Was Am-I-Right recording gold
And I noticed the strangers
Were ghost white and pale
When they stopped at a red light

Then I knew there was something strange about this ride

[chorus]
They said, spoofer can you make folks laugh to they hurt their side?
Can you write a tune, and have it up by noon, 'cause we know you're from Am-I-Right
Have you ever read and laughed until you cried?
It's a hard life though, not every rating's 5-5-5

Then we pulled up to the library
I got out of the truck, I said
"Thanks for the lift, guys. Someone stole my bike."
They nodded and they drove off, and disappeared into the sky
That's when it hit me, them two were Malcom Higgins and Royce!

[chorus]
They said, spoofer can you make folks laugh to they hurt their side?
Can you write a tune, and have it up by noon, 'cause we know you're from Am-I-Right
Have you ever read and laughed until you cried?
It's a hard life though, not every rating's 5-5-5

They said, spoofer can you make folks laugh to they hurt their side?
Can you write a tune, and have it up by noon, 'cause we know you're from Am-I-Right
Have you ever read and laughed until you cried?
It's a hard life though, not every rating's 5-5-5

It's a hard life though, not every rating's 5-5-5
I didn't know them really that well, if I knew them at all to be honest. But Godspeed to Malcom Higgins and Royce Miller...
Sail on...

Sensei - Two specters from our glorious amiright past. A tribute worthy of the subjects...and the author! ;D

Great idea...and subject matter...just wish you would have tightened the pacing up a bit...and reflected a little more on the two legends listed..could have been over the top..

OMR: Oh look who finally decided to show himself! Welcome back! AFW: I might try a re-write or another tribute for these two. They do deserve to be a little more over the top, but the reason this is kinda suubtle is because the original song is about David Allan Coe's ride with the Ghost of Hank Williams. And you don't know he's with Hank until the end, so it's kinda following in those footsteps. But yeah. I understand what you mean.

Great parody and subject matter... Malcolm and Royce will always have a special place in my heart, even though Malcolm wrote some fairly offensive parodies toward the end, he still left great comments and had great talent with huge OS and subject variety. Same goes for Royce except for not writing offensive stuff. 5s.

Why is my security code "KFC" Does that go to show what kind of condition Andria's brain is in? ;)
