The Lyrics

Well I, was passed out like a log
And I, was woken from my slumber, baby
All I know is that my wife
Told me to get out of bed
Find out what the racket was
Oh my head, my head

So I, I got dressed in the dark
Cause I, I heard my doggy barkin', baby
All I know is that to me
This felt like a floppy shirt
Then my baby said to me (I felt like a jerk)

You're in my nightgown, baby, nightgown
Like a tranny, baby, nightgown gown gown
You're in my nightgown, baby, nightgown
Like a tranny, baby, nightgown gown gown

Then I, I had to go outside
(Where there's nowhere to hide)
And I, just had to run into my neighbor, Stanley
All I know is that to me
This was not a lot of fun
Then my neighbor said to me (I felt really dumb)

You're in a nightgown, buddy, nightgown
Like a tranny, buddy, nightgown gown gown
You're in a nightgown, buddy, nightgown
Like a tranny, buddy, nightgown gown gown

I want some pants
I want some pants

All I know is that to me
This felt like a floppy shirt
Then my baby said to me (I felt like a jerk)

You're in my nightgown, baby, nightgown
Like a tranny, baby, nightgown gown gown
You're in my nightgown, baby, nightgown
Like a tranny, baby, nightgown gown gown

I want some pants
I want some pants

I loved this! Gloriously silly and almost spot-on with the pacing too. I've only recently started seeing your name on this site, but I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for your stuff in future, if this is an example of it :^) Great job!

I don't know the verses well at all but your chorus is awesome.

Normally I'd comment on the lack of variation in the three choruses, but since I myself can't come up with an angle to introduce such here I'll only mention it because you're a noob in these comps. Good parody, I liked it.

Great work! Hopefully this hasn't happened to you...unless you're the type who writes based on personal experience haha. Great job!

Thanks! No, ha ha, this hasn't ever happened to me. Well...not lately, anyway.

(SOTM) Excellent work, I'm one of those writers that tends to lean towards non-varying choruses, so no problems there. Very funny, very silly, very good. 555

Great piece here... I had a live-in boyfriend at one time who woke up to find himself wearing my lace-trimmed, purple satin nightgown after he had drank a pint of whiskey and 2 bottles of beer with his prescribed psychiatric drugs, then crashed on my bed. It fit him quite nicely since I'm not a small girl by any means, but not fat either. Didn't look good at all though. Reminds me of that experience, which provided a chuckle and another weird memory... 5s.

Now I want to see you do the same song but the Flo Rida version, haha. Well done here!

Andria--wow, I didn't know my parody was based on a true story! Matthias--thanks, I'll get to work on that just as soon as I learn how to rap!

(SOTM) I guess if someone is going to go out at night, the best thing to put on is a nightgown! Er, maybe not! LOL! 5's

Thanks! Sometimes I forget to put my shorts on and go outside in my underwear, so I don't know what would be worse!

Ah...putting your wife's clothes on by "accident" I see, lol! Funny stuff.

Are you saying I was wearing a Freudian slip?

(SOTM) Pretty sweet parody, the only downside is the use of "tranny". The way you used it sounded like a derogatry word, and that just kinda...irked me, I guess. Maybe it's because I'm a bg fan of Eddie Izzard, who knows. Still, 5's for you!

Thanks! I'm an Eddie Izzard fan too.
