The Lyrics

About how we feel in college.........
I got homework today
I didn't wanna get
But I knew that it would come
Have to finish 5 papers due by tomorrow
A few exams, yuck
And I thought of the bad classes,
Mean teachers I had before
And how all this stuff is a huge bore
What are these voices outside the classroom door
Make you wanna have some fun now
And beg for something more?

I'm learning to live with the homework
But I hate it sometimes
The more I know, the less I understand
All the things I thought I learned, I'm learning again

And I've been wondering
Does studying matter?
Guess it does, have to pass
Now my brain is a scatter
But I hope I soon graduate
Graduate
Even if, even if I really don't care anymore

Can't remember what I'm learnin'
I just learn it for the test
The memory escapes
We all need to just get out of here
So we can survive well out there in this age
But I've heard that there's no such thing as the real world
Guess that's true, excuse me, have to hurl
Ooh, all the presentations
Cannot get easier now
Too much work is what they give us
How can we finish it? How?

I'm learning to live with the homework
But I hate it, baby
And the more I know, the less I understand
All the things I thought I'd learned ten times
I have to learn again

And I've been wondering
Does studying matter?
I have to pass the class
Though my brain is a scatter
But I hope I soon graduate
Graduate
Even if, even if I really don't care anymore

There are teachers in your life who've come and gone
They let you down, you know they hurt your pride
You'd better forget about them now, baby, you'll get new ones
Until there are no more, just hope that they'll be nice, baby

And I've been wondering
Does studying matter?
Guess it does, have to pass
Now my brain is a scatter
But I hope I soon graduate
Graduate
Even if, even if I really don't care
And I've been wondering
Does studying matter?
Because we're all so tired
And it all makes us sadder
But I hope I soon graduate
Graduate
Even if, even if I really don't care

You make college sound a lot like high school.

It's also very realistic for college.

Great original, great parody.....

I've been through college, and it is very much like high school as far as classes and homework and projects go. You have slightly more control of your social situation in college than in high school, though. While everyone else in my class partied and got roasted, I was addicted to a different type of drug: Super Smash Brothers Melee.
