My youngest child was motivated to get into journalism in reaction to the Laci Peterson case. Even as a pre-teen, she could see how utterly stupid it was to endlessly focus for months on end on this one death, when tens of thousands of people died every day across the world. She thought anyone could do better

In fact, there is good reason to suspect that Brian Laundrie is the murderer of GP. They were seen fighting and having violent arguments by numerous people. They were traveling around to remote places which offered oppty to commit murder. He returned home w/o her, then she was found murdered. And most damning of all, just a few days before she was found, he takes off .. almost as if he knew how long it would take to find her body
