The Lyrics

midi....http://ynucc.yeungnam.ac.kr/~bwlee/midi_w.htm#Back%20Here
Wahhs might win
Give a frown
Baby c'mon stare them down.

Talk and run
Spit spite 'round
Baby don't you dare skip town.
Everybody's squawkin' about their 'new' way of talkin'
People we should use our minds.

Waahs might win
Give a frown
Baby c'mon stare them down.

Sock that chin!
Get that clown!
Sadie use your mind to fawn.

Sock that chin!
Get that clown!
Sadie use your mind to fawn.

Everybody's squawkin' about askewed way of talkin'
Do you think we've lost our minds?

Sock that chin!
Get that clown!
Sadie use your mind to fawn.

We're insane.
Come around.
Laddie's let your tongues roll on.

We're insane.
Come around.
Laddie's let your tongues roll on.

Everybody's squawkin' about askewed way of talkin'
Do you think we've lost our minds?

Waahs might win
Give a frown
Baby c'mon stare them down.

Whats a waah?
Johnny D - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Heh heh I think I know what Pat's talkin' about here! Good job, Adagio.
Royce Miller - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Well Adagio, I don't give a donkey's ass what a waah is, but I have taken a good message from your parody---fives from me and I won't let waah's win on my watch.
Stuart McArthur - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
don't understand it, but I've got a feeling it makes sense, because of its consistency - 555
Adagio - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Thanks CJ, Johnny and Royce. 'Waah' is the sound of a baby crying.
Adagio - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Thanks Stuart. It's about yesterday's tussle here on amiright.
John Barry - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Thanks for the explanation. Nicely paced and rhymed.
Arwen - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
I think I'll always be proud of that fact that I can state my differing opinion to someone..."tussle" with them, if you will...and still never resort to calling them names...OR write an attack parody about them.

Ashkicksass - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Since when does stating your opinion constitute an out and out war? I really didn't think it would come to this, ladies. I must say, I'm pretty disappointed. Basically, the only way to keep the peace around here is to agree with what everyone says? If you read my parody "The Ballad of Ash and Arwen," you'll see that Arwen and I can disagree with people, but doesn't mean that we hate them.
Quiet But Alert Observer - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Who can it be now? Let's see, I can think of several people besides you two who this can be about. I guess if the foo shits - wear it. I am observing that you two are automatically claiming that this is all about you. Figures.
Arwen - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Go ahead and tell me who else was in a huge tussle yesterday, Oh Wise Observer. And Royce clearly thought it was about us, too. And I'm not sure where you're going with your "Figures" comment.
QBAO - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Who knows since that room full of donkeys can be anyone or any number of people and I would not ASSume as you did that it was about anyone in particular. Remember it was the two of you who are claiming to be the recipients of an attack parody. Still figures.
Ashkicksass - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Why don't you use your real name?
Arwen - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Right...but while the Donkeys produced the parody, none of them were arguing about it. I don't automatically assume that ANYTHING is about me...but in this case...I think the evidence is pretty strong.

And if I'm wrong...it's still an attack parody with name calling...which isn't cool no matter WHO it's about.
QBAO - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
This is my real name - now you gonna make fun of that too?
Ashkicksass - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Naw...it's not really worthy.
QBAO - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
You are right about that one. You don't assume anything is about you because you automatically ASSume that EVERYTHING is about you. And how do you know that none of them are complaining unless of course you happen to fall into that jack ass, erm I mean donkey crowd? They started the anonminity, I'm just mimicing what they do. I'd rather be a monkey than a jack ass any day.
moderator - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
now now, let's take this outside........to the Only Threat That Madders=)
Arwen - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
If you'd look at my history on the site, you'd see that I rarely ever even READ political parodies...let alone write them. It also might surprise you that while I don't always make a habit to vote along party lines...I am a registered Republican.

I think it's pretty clear that you've got MAJOR issues with me (and Ash) for one reason or another...and really...it probably has nothing to do with this instance. That is fine. Have issues. You're allowed. But I will say, for the record, that this quote, made absolutely NO sense whatsoever:

"You don't assume anything is about you because you automatically ASSume that EVERYTHING is about you."
Ashkicksass - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
And your donkey "accusation" is just ridiculous. It's pretty obvious that neither of us has ever felt the need to hide behind an alias.
Jeff Reuben - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Q: A tussle needs two or more people. The only comment "Donkeys" has left is to disable comments from their parodies, they have no interest in tussling. It's clear who and what this was about. Don't be...naive.
QBAO - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Let's see, where were we? I just got back from lunch and had a BURRitO and a side of ASSparagus. I'm trying to see what it's like to have a case of the ass. You guys ever try decaf?
Arwen - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
It's like I know that you're trying REALLY hard...so I kind of want to laugh...throw you a bone...but...um...yeah...still not funny.
QBAO - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Yeah, but at least tomorrow I will be serious...
Arwen - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
As opposed to me...who will be what tomorrow? Oh yeah...still right.
Ashkicksass - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
LMAO!!!
QBAO - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Yeah - I suspect probably RIGHT back at it.
Ashkicksass - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Good Lord...you really are terrible at this, Q.
Bastard - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
'QBAO', if you're going to attack someone, use your regular screen name or just shut the f up.
QBAO - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
And I suppose that "Bastard" is on your birth certificate? Yeah - that would be just about right.
Ashkicksass - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Just so everyone knows, Ashkicksass isn't on my birth certificate either...
QBAO - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Why was it spelled incorrectly or something?
Arwen - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
"Arwen" is on my birth certificate. It is written in Sharpie ink.
QBAO - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
So you were born before typewriters then?
Ashkicksass - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
Apricot...is that you?
Martha Stewart a.k.a. Inmate 053879425 - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
"Martha" is on MY birth certificate. It is written in Harpie ink.
Bastard - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
What part of "regular screen name" are you finding it difficult to understand, ass-clown? I don't give a donkey's testicle what your birth certificate says, given that I hardly intend to hire a private investigator to find your sorry ass.
ass-clown - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
hey, stop impersonating me, you Bastard.
Paul Robinson - October 27, 2004 - Report this comment
I liked it...no more to say except "5's"...
