Congratulations, Jeff Lynne OBE!

The Lyrics

I saw (Jeff Lynne's) ELO last year and it was a t(w)een dream come true for me. Not only were the songs so excellent but advances in technology made the show even better than it could've been in the past. In college I've studied some of the recording techniques that ELO used and pioneered in back in the day and it was laborous and hard work. With today's computer software it's an easier job but you have to have the TALENT AND MUSICALITY in order to make it work. Jeff certainly has that as he has shown in ELO, Travelling Wilburys, as a producer and other things. Today its been announced that Jeff Lynne is awarded an OBE honor for his genius contributions to music. Congratulations to Jeff for a well deserved honor. Kudos. And this parody is about an unruly brat who deserves NOTHING less than a belting across the chops and a kick in the ass!
Somebody told him he's the Chosen One from Heaven
He screws his daughter on a 747
Yeah, we're living in
In a messed up world
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di

And pretty soon he's really got the notion
Of buying Greenland in the Artic Ocean
Yeah, we're living in
In a messed up world (hmm, in a messed up world )

Flaps his arms, uncouth Hitler
But all he has is static in his attic
His motormouth is on automatic

Screwing America (can't get it through his head)
Screwing America (he really wants you dead)
Screwing America (immature narcissist)
Screwing America (obnoxious boor and fascist)
Screwing America
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di

But we're just talking to an idiot
Spankee boy traitor and his head full of shit
Yeah, we're living in
In a messed up world
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di

Nobody wants to call him on the phone
Sociopath, not fit to talk to someone
Yeah, we're living in
In a messed up world (in a messed up world)

He's always bragging 'bout himself
Ill mannered ass, he has no class
He's always doing something wrong
His lies they just go on and on

Screwing America (can't get a message through)
Screwing America (head full of doo-doo)
Screwing America (beyond himself, can't see)
Screwing America (it's always 'Me me me ME!')
Screwing America
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di

(* guitar solo *)

Di Di Di-Di Di-Di

Wish this lippy turd would go away
He's embarrassing the U.S. of A.
Yeah, we're living in
In a messed up world

Screwing America (can't get a message through)
Screwing America (head full of doo-doo)
Screwing America (beyond himself, can't see)
Screwing America (it's always 'Me me me ME!')
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di
Screwing America
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di
Screwing America
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di
Screwing America
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di
Screwing America
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di
Screwing America
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di
Screwing America
Di Di Di-Di Di-Di

Jeff would be proud of this good work! You even got the 'dit dit dit's right. Awesome!
