The Lyrics

This little ditty is primarily dedicated to Red Ant(e) and secondarily to everyone else who has ever been here less than (insert time frame you consider to be normal length of newbie phase here). BTW: From now on I'll try to never refer to you as a newbie again but we've all been there you know, and compared to "Weird Al" Yankovic (founder of the genre, hallowed be thy name), we all still are. ;-)
We'll ride out the weather
With pills through the Hell
And maybe we'll comment
On you, who can tell?
We know there's the One Guy to blame
When stuff's on ground (Crap's on ground)
Will fame ever come our way one day?

We're the Newbie Vet'rans
The Newbie Vet'rans
Duuuh

We're mocking Uranus (Ahem)
And hope you're enthralled
Well, maybe we're keen, but
Votes' welcomed by all (Yeah!)
With such crap as B.Spears around
And shite to improve (This be proof)
I'm sure that we'll all be here long

We're the Newbie Vet'rans
The Newbie Vet'rans
The Newbie Vet'rans (With sometimes hard frowns)
Duuuh

(555 days long newbie-veteran interlude)

Repeat Chorus
Repeat Chorus
Repeat Chorus
Repeat Chorus
Repeat Chorus
Ad Nausea
;-)

How am I SUPPOSED to vote this other than 555?

The one time I was compared to WAY, I checked his version. Mine was better I believe, hehe. I see you're testing me on the "repeat chorus" deal ( ad nausea is a nice touch ).

It's okay about the "newbie" status/reference. My 100th parody will get me another newbie point. :-)

Good one, Peter! I've been on here since March 25, 2005. Only 42 parodies so, I guess I'm a newbie too, huh? 555

Red Ant: Yep, a little injoke that I figured you would catch. Can't claime to be the inventor of the "ad nausea" ending though, don't remember when I saw it first but it's one of the ways one can use to get out of replacing every single chorus when TOS's ending has them in abundance, and the subject is right for it. (For now sharing that knowledge with me and others you get 1 extra NP). ;-)

Rick C: With that name we all had to get to know you much faster than usual so as to be able to differentiate you from Rick D. Smart move on your behalf. You get 42 extra NPs and a copy of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy. :-)

Thanks, Peter, my wife's been looking for that title in CD format. Where do I pick it up????

Rick: There's this little gift shop somewhere near the Fjords of Norway...
