The Lyrics

Crooking out the gov
With a lie so big
He wanted to build a US kingdom
Out of a riot at the Capitol
Crooking out the gov
With a Big Big Lie
He said “we love you”
And that “you’re very special”
For joining the insurrection
When you attacked the Capitol
Crooking out the gov
With a Big Big Lie
Please wake up
To the lie so tall
Please wake up
Don’t let the US fall
Crooking out the gov
With a Big Big Lie
Crooking out the gov
With a Big Big Lie

wikipedia article for "The Big Lie": "(German: große Lüge) is a gross distortion or misrepresentation of the truth, used especially as a propaganda technique. The German expression was coined by Adolf Hitler, when he dictated his 1925 book Mein Kampf, to describe the use of a lie so colossal that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously." ...In the 21st century, the term has been applied to Donald Trump's attempts to overturn the result of the 2020 United States presidential election. In this instance, the term was used to refer to the false claim that the election was stolen through massive electoral and voter fraud; the scale of the claims resulted in Trump supporters attacking the U.S. Capitol."

i saw this quote attributed to Nazi propaganda minister Goebbels: "people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it." Hitler lead a failed coup in 1923 before taking over Germany a decade later. Twitler lead a failed coup in 2021, and should be monitored intensely. actually he's no longer Twitler since Twitter wisely banned the twit, but that's no reason to not stay vigilant.

found this larger quote of Hitler at jewishvirtuallibrary.org: “that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation."
