I was out dating, paid for both entrees
Dinner was lovely, but she wouldn’t stay

Is full of supermarket receipts
And wrappers for eaten sweets
All of this seems appalling,
Awful to her

If it were filled then that would be a good start

Can’t sit on the sofa, there’s several months of mail
Much too much to fit in the bin, this is beyond the pail
I stubbed my toe
Since I just didn’t see the chair
The folding one buried there
And now I fear I’ll fall and,
Fall and get hurt
