Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The street we call Sesame
The street we call Sesame
The street we call Sesame
The street we call Sesame

You're still being with Ernie
A rubber duck just for Ernie
No more "journey to Ernie"
He's acting strange,Bert

Forget that Prairie Dawn!
Who cares about Prairie Dawn?
Cookie Monster and Prairie Dawn?
Eat cookie,eat cookie,eat cookie,eat cookie,eat cookie now Cookie Monster

The street we call Sesame
The street we call Sesame
The street we call Sesame
The street we call Sesame

I know Elmo's not a girl
And he really has his own world
He lives in an apartment building
And what was Elmo thinking?

The street we call Sesame (Sesame)
The street we call Sesame (Sesame)

So you're really Big Bird
Eight-foot tall Big Bird
You didn't really fly,Big Bird
It couldn't be wrong

And Oscar The Grouch
A green pathetic grouch
You used to be an orange grouch
Offensive,offensive,offensive,offensive,offensive,Offensive Oscar

The street we call Sesame
The street we call Sesame
The street we call Sesame
The street we call Sesame

The street was very safe
It's the place that I won't hate
And Snuffleupagus was here
And I don't handle much fear

Well there's Bob McGrath
Worthless Bob McGrath
You really hate Bob McGrath?
He's such a nice guy

Forget about Grover
Not Grover,not Grover,not Grover
Not Grover,not Grover,not Grover
Not Grover,not Grover,not Grover,not Grover,not Grover,not Grover all right

Sesame...
Sesame...
Sesame...
Sesame...(fade out)

Very good! I just had to look up a parody of that wonderful song. George did great when he was on his own.

Loved seeing this OS parodied...pacing was good (you have to be familiar with the OS and break up the words appropriately...like "Ses-A-mee")..but the rhyming wasn't good...and it wasn't funny (but sure had potential to be)-Sorry, TSB, but your parodies never sdeem to work for me. 423

The Snuffleupagus turned out to be real (at least, within the confines of the show), but I wish this song was just a figment of my imagination.
