A friend asked me to write a jingle for her community access radio station subscription run. I Liked what I wrote so much I am putting on here as well. (In modesty, I dont usually like my own work so much as other peoples work.)
When first I tuned FM
I was petrified
When you said you wanted DISCO
God I almost died
But then I spent so many nights
Thinking how Music did me wrong
And I grew strong
So I tuned in and sang along
I love the Tracks
I love the pace’s
I’m Dancing on the train to see the look
On peoples face’s
I will never change that stupid station
I will never sing off key
I listen ever second
Bugger off don’t bother me
So go on now go
Play me some more
Just tune them out now

My makeup crumbling?

I hate the OS but love your parody. That hits home with our local PBS station. Every other month they have pledge drives while they broadcast pap for baby boomers and Suzy Orman. They won't get a penny from me until they go back to broadcasting opera, ballet and the symphony.
