If you've been here recently, you've seen some rather gruesome parodies about Hitler and Nazi Germany posted under some regular contributors' names--people who would not have written that kind of parody in a million years. Here's a protest parody dedicated to whoever is pulling this off...

Funny and to the point, though I hope you don't mind a few anti-Nazi or anti-Hitler parodies now and then. Der Hatemonger deserves to be vilified for all time! --MM
*Anti-*Nazi ones, yes...but the songs that inspired this protest seemed to put Hitler's actions in a good light, or make his genocide into a joke. Even though none of my family would have been killed in the Holocaust, I think that lyrics which glorify anti-Semitic violence don't belong here.
of course I agree that Nazis are misguided and have no place here, but this one makes me a little uneasy because "loathing" and "anger" are what THEY do
True enough, though I'd never advocate genocide against a group that ticked me off--no matter how badly. There is nothing funny about death camps, sniping at Jews with shotguns, or any of the other gruesome racist violence that the "Nazi troll" was writing about; even worse, this guy was using established contributors' handles to make THEM look pro-Nazi. That's what inspired the "loathing" behind my lyrics.

I'd just like to pipe in and say that yes, Nazis are bad. I agree. But this song ROCKS simply because the plural noun "crazies" always makes me giggle.

5-5-5! I totally agree with this song's sentiments. However, are you sure that this is based off of the version that Joan Jett did by herself? I ask this because Joan Jett recorded a solo version of this song in 1979, but that one wasn't a hit. Then she recorded it again in 1982 with her band The Blackhearts, & that one was a hit. So, which one is this based off of?
The only version I've ever heard is the one performed with the Blackhearts, so that was what I went by.
