The Lyrics

Reasons to apply for food taster at an expensive restaurant...
Everything you make can really get me stowing
And I'd much rather start with you fully knowing
So I'll be straight before my stomach's showing
I'm only in it for the grub

I want you to know I have taken affection
Now don't be alarmed I just want a fraction
I'll tell you before you raise any objection
I'm only in it for the grub

I'm only in it for the grub and confection
That's why I hang out in the free food section
I guess the scrumptious thought I hope you're grasping
Is that my stomach plans on never fasting

So many times I've left my tummy empty
Now I think I've found my own horn of plenty
See me dishing up some real big portions
I'm only in it for the grub

(short break - enough time to stuff a whole roll into mouth)

I'm only in it for the grub and confection
And I've found that you've got a great selection
Now when I eat I want to come up gasping
You see my stomach plans on never fasting

Puking's a crime I don't believe in retching
That's why my stomach needs a little stretching
Don't entertain any funny notions
I'm only in it for the grub
I'm only in it for the grub

(another short break - enough time to swallow a slice of pie)

I'm only in it for the grub and confection
Yeah I'm asking for kitchen directions
The role of taster would be perfect casting
Because my stomach plans on never fasting

So many times I've stopped myself from choking
Mouth has no more room left there for food poking
Don't plan on causing such commotion
I'm only in it for the grub
I'm only in it for the grub
I'm only in it for the grub

DKTOS or artist, but this was too funny and looked paced quite well not to get a 555. I thought I picked obscure stuff!

Good one, Tim. I do know the original song and artist, as I occasionally listen to the classic country station in my area. I really like how you parody mostly forgotten country songs. I'm a rocker for the most part, but I do have an apreciation for the good old country sound, and the parodies you base around them are usually creative and funny.
