The Lyrics

We've got at least 2 long years with her in charge, might as well get some laughs out of it
Pelosi
(While campaigning)

Welcome my friends
Sit yourself down
And meet the best
Party in town
As for the rest
All of crooks
Culture of corruption
It’s all on the books
Seldom do you see
Honest girls like me
A gal without a scowl
Who’s content to be

Speaker of the House
Dolling out the smiles
Giving to the lazy
With open palm
Bring the troops home
End this stupid war
Americans appreciate a liberal
Glad to do a guy a favor
Doesn’t hurt me to be nice
But nothing gets you nothing
Everything has got a little price

Speaker of the house
Keeper of the zoo
Ready to relieve you
of a right or two
Watering the bills
Packing in the pork
Picking up their money
When they make too much
Everybody loves a Democrat
America’s one true friend
I do whatever pleases
Jesus won’t I screw em in the end

Speaker of the house
Quick to catch your eye
Never wants passing tax
To pass her buy
Coddling the poor
Punishing the great
Comforter philosopher
And life long mate
All the children’s boon companion
Didja see me chaperone
But lock up all your money
Jesus won’t I tax you to the bone!

(after her election)
Enter you (republ)icans
Lay down your power
Give up your seats
And give me the gavel

(Take gavel from Hassert)

This was a ton
Powers a curse
But now we’ll strive to
Make it much worse
Now democrats rule
Now let out a sigh
Cause nothings gonna pass
Till I’m satisfied

Bills beyond compare
Bills beyond belief
Put them in the hopper
What a relief
Ban on the guns
Abortion on demand
Filling up the funding bills
For spinach land

Republicans are more than welcome
Committee chairs are occupied
Reasonable changes
Plus some little extras on the side

Subpoena Mrs. Meyers
And Condoleezza Rice
Subpoena Bush for stamping with his veto twice
Here a little bend
There a little break
Hurry up and fire them before it’s too late
When it comes to feigning scandals
There’s a lot tricks I know
How it all increases
All those bits and pieces
Jesus it’s amazing how it grows

Speaker of the house
Quick to catch your eye
Never wants passing tax
To pass her buy
Coddling the poor
Punishing the great
Comforter philosopher
And life long mate
All the children’s boon companion
God I hate talk radio
What a bunch of geezers
Jesus wish what they said wasn’t true

Hassert
I used to dream
I’d make this country great
But God almighty look what’s dropped onto our plate
Speaker of the house
Isn’t worth my spit
Comforter philosopher
And liberal twit
Cunning little brain
Regular Voltaire
Thinks she’s quite a leader but
There’s not much there
What cruel mid-term election
Landed us with such a louse
God knows how we’ll last here
Living with this LIBERAL of the house

(Democrats)
Speaker of the house

(Hassert)
Speaker and a half!

(Democrats)
Comforter Philospher

(Hassert)
Don’t make me laugh

(Democrats)
Servant to the poor
Hero of the great

(Hassert)
Hypocrite, incompetent, constitution-hate

(democrats)
Everybody bless the Speaker
Everybody bless Hassert
Everybody raise a glass
(Teddy Kennedy raises a glass and falls over)
WOOOO

(Hassert)
Raise it up the Speakers arse

(Democrats)
Everybody raise a glass to the Speaker of the House

You're taking a base song from "Les Miserables"? Isn't that a big, lavish Broadway musical? Just remember, it can happen to rabid right-wingers from Idaho, too! And as long as Bush is the leader of your party, you have no credibility when calling someone else "lazy."
Big G - September 05, 2007 - Report this comment
Lazy doesn't refer to Pelosi she's been working overtime trying to ruin our country (not on purpose of course) it refers to the people who plan to live off welfare. (Not people who are in a bad place and intend to get back to work ASAP. And as for Les Mis Broadway doesn't necessarily mean liberal, Les Mis always reminds me of how many people in this nation don't love freedom. Marius was willing to die to free his nation, but now people want more government control. But I digress Les Mis is a very good play I like a lot of Broadway plays. Just because I believe in limited government and personal responsibility doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good musical.

I have a strong appreciation for Les Miserables, Nancy Pelosi parodies, and advocates of "limited government and personal responsibility," so, naturally, I appreciate this parody. I would have enjoyed the parody more if it borrowed less from the original song and if some of the lines did not seem somewhat forced. But there is some good stuff here, Big G. Keep hammering your themes.

"People in this nation who don't love freedom" are the Constitution-shredders in the Republican Party, starting with Bush and Cheney. The part about Broadway musicals was to tweak you because Broadway has long been a hallmark of gay people -- not that there's anything wrong with that. And you know how to fix welfare? Make jobs pay more than welfare, and then make them available. That will make welfare meaningless. That's why Bill Clinton was able to sign that ridiculous "welfare reform" bill, because he knew he would create enough jobs to make it work. Bush can't, and wouldn't if he could, because he doesn't give a damn. Pelosi would if she could, and in a year and a half she will, because she won't have to worry about a Presidential veto. Of course, she'll no longer be the most powerful woman in America, but that's life.
Big G - September 08, 2007 - Report this comment
I don't care about gayness, and as for making jobs pay more than welfare, hey how about we make all jobs pay as much as CEO's how about we force the prices of food to be cheap enough so EVERYONE can afford caviar.
Immoral Liberal - September 10, 2007 - Report this comment
How about we put a stop to the failed policy in Iraq and save some lives? It's the (failed) war, stupid. So Big G, if you don't care about Gayness then I suppose you support Larry Craig staying in the Senate? Afterall, didn't he do what Vitter did?
Big G - October 01, 2007 - Report this comment
There's a big difference between gay people and Larry Craig, Craig is a pervert. Apparently you think all gay people are perverts, you're homophobic. And as for the war 1. it isn't failed. 2. You want to see death, watch what happens when we pull out.
Immoral Liberal - October 01, 2007 - Report this comment
Big G, you ignorant fascist. You want to see death - how about telling Dumb-a-Ya to allow reporters to witness the American casualties coming home. (Question: If somebody dies in a failed war but reporters don't see the bodies, did they really die?) Now Big G, you expert on sex, sexuality and all things moral - tell me what the difference is between Senator Vitter and Senator Craig - didn't they both engage in the same act? Is the difference that one state has a republican governor and one state has a democrat as governor? Is it because Vitter engaged with a woman and Craig engaged with a man? Or is it the fact that Vitter invoked JEE-SUS and Craig has yet to utter the "savior's" name? Big G, if you want to know what homophobia looks like, then look in the mirror. Oh, uh right, the policy and war in Iraq is a FAILURE. WHERE IS OSMA? Remember when you vote to piss off a republican (like Big G) and vote Hillary and Obama into the White House - it would be a fascist's worse nightmare.
