The Lyrics

I just saw Loverboy live recently, and they opened with Notorious which is a very catchy tune, I wanted to parody it. Then the word came to me, since Justin Trudeau is one of the most nefarious people in the world today I was able to make it work, so here it is, the first ever parody of Notorious (by Loverboy) on this site.
Blah, blah, blah, Ooooo yuck

In Justin Trudeau's time nothing has gone right
So many scandals, he's not very bright
His high-taxes and rising crime rate, he's the one we all hate
This really is so unfair, the cost of living is too much to bear

'Cause he's na-na-na-na na-na-na-na nefarious (nefarious)
He gets what he wants, while our savings bleed
'Cause he's na-na-na-na na-na-na-na nefarious (nefarious)
He hides his corruption, and he won't come clean

Our country is in debt, and we're on the hook
And he doesn't think we need to balance the books
His high-taxes and rising crime rate, he's the one we all hate
This really is so unfair, the cost of living is too much to bear

'Cause he's na-na-na-na na-na-na-na nefarious (nefarious)
He gets what he wants, while our savings bleed
'Cause he's na-na-na-na na-na-na-na nefarious (nefarious)
He hides his corruption, and he won't come clean

Lock him up, he's nothing but a criminal
Lock him up, it's time for him to pay

High taxes, the rising crime rate, he's the one we all hate
This really is so unfair, the cost of living is too much to bear

'Cause he's na-na-na-na na-na-na-na nefarious (nefarious)
He gets what he wants, while our savings bleed
'Cause he's na-na-na-na na-na-na-na nefarious (nefarious)
He hides his corruption, and he won't come clean

'Cause he's na-na-na-na na-na-na-na nefarious (nefarious)
He gets what he wants, while our savings bleed
'Cause he's na-na-na-na na-na-na-na nefarious (nefarious)
He hides his corruption, and he won't come clean

And he won't come clean, oh no, ewww, lock him up.

I got every syllable count to match, and that is commendable. I had some difficulty matching the syllable stress pattern. But I did like your parody overall. I'm not sure I could have completed the read through, except you not only followed the rhyme schemes of the OS, you followed the exact rhymes of the OS. Though that is not required of a parody, it was a tremendous help in navigating your parody. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to your next submission.

Thanks Glenn, I might have another Loverboy parody coming soon as well. What I find really fun is using songs by Canadian artists to make fun of the worst Prime Minister of all time.
