The Lyrics

And the health care debate rages on. I think everyone should have access to reasonably priced health care. But I don’t like some of the things I’m hearing about how that will be accomplished. In the end, you know it’s going to cost a ton of money no matter what they do. And you know who is going to end up shouldering the bulk of the cost: the middle class working people. Get ready to fork over some more tax dollars next year. That’s my take on it; your mileage may vary, but enjoy the parody. ;-)
Forking for the Deep Spend

Everyone's watching, to see if it comes true
Everyone knows that they’re screwed, oh
Everyone's pondering, with six degrees of fright
Everyone's lying, and that ain’t right, that ain’t right

Middle class is forking for the deep spend
Middle class will heav-i-ly finance
Everybody knows who’ll pay for knee mend
When the donkeys do their vict’ry dance, no!

You want some work on your heart
You better do your part
You wanna keep the blood flow
Better fork out some dough!

Everyone’s stressing to see what O. will do
Everyone knows that we’re all through
Everyone’s thinking plan’ll be porked out
Everyone’s hating these pangs of doubt

Working stiffs are forking for the steep spend
Everybody knows they have no chance, hey hey-ey
Everybody knows who’ll pay for DE-pends™
When they pass the plan we’ll sh!t our pants, oh

You want to let out a fart
That wouldn’t be too smart
You want the doctor to sew
Come on baby, you owe!

Hey!

You want the treatment to start
Some cash you must impart
You want diseases to slow
Then your money we'll blow!

You want a check of your heart
But you’re not on their chart
‘Cause if you’re eighty years old
They have to let you go!

Bonus Choruses: Extra Tax Charged
You want the doc to provide
We’ll let the feds decide
You want the freedom of choice
But you have lost your voice!

You want to swap out your hip
You just fill out this slip
You got no cash in the bank
Well you know who to thank!

Well done - really like the verse with Depends in it. Middle class must be above $250,000 (no additional tax) to pay for it; at least that is the story now - it may not last

Great parody, blackjack! This tells all about the economy. I totally agree with you on the middle-class shouldering the bulk of the cost. Bonus choruses you added to your parody are awesome. Here $555 to fork for the deep spend!

Was expecting another vacation/gambling parody. VERY pleasantly surprised. I still go with the old-fashioned payout of 3:2 for this Ace by the Jack, which adds up to Five.
