Original Song Title:

"F.L.M."

Original Performer:

Mel & Kim

Parody Song Title:

"Fetal Lives Matter"

Parody Written by:

Embry O

The Lyrics

ai was impregnated with this idea and gave birth to this:
When you're feeling down and low
And your spirits just won't flow
There's a cause that you should know
Fetal lives matter, don't you know

They may be small and barely formed
But their value should not be ignored
Every life deserves a chance to grow
Fetal lives matter, that's for sure

Fetal lives matter, can't you see
They're just as important as you and me
Let's give them the love and care they need
Fetal lives matter, let's all agree

In a world that's so complex
It's easy to get perplexed
But we can make a difference, you and me
By standing up for fetal dignity

They may not have a voice to speak
But their worth is not defined by physique
Every life deserves a chance to grow
Fetal lives matter, that's for sure

Fetal lives matter, can't you see
They're just as important as you and me
Let's give them the love and care they need
Fetal lives matter, let's all agree

Some may say it's a woman's choice
But that doesn't give us the right to destroy
Let's choose life and give them a chance
Fetal lives matter, let's take a stance

Fetal lives matter, can't you see
They're just as important as you and me
Let's give them the love and care they need
Fetal lives matter, let's all agree.

We were all that at one point. Good parody

seeing 8 5's for that today convinces me that conservatives have some sort of death grip on reviews here. how about the perspective that it can be better to be kept from entering an insane world?

That's perspective's not available to anyone who's not been born yet. Until you've been aborted yourself, you have no moral standing to support aborting others. Also, if this temporal sphere is "an insane world" as you say, may I ask what's preventing you from leaving it? This ain't the Hotel California, you know: here, the policy is that you can check out any time you like, but then you can never come back.

daily mass killings (with no action taken to correct that) are solid evidence of this world's insanity. maybe nature did abort me in the miscarriage my mother had before i was born. i remember the founder of the Hare Krsnas saying that people shouldn't be bringing people into this material plane. if already here as an actual human (not a pre-human embryo), his religion views suicide as not only sinful but as leading to a state of being where all human desires continue without the ability to have them satisfied. that awful possibility steers me away from suicide.

i have to admit that the Krsna religion does view abortion as sinful. it sees us in the "Kali Yuga" which is an era of spiritual decadence. this is a quote from one of their pages: "now most of the children being born are 'unwanted children'. This has created a hellish world"

personally i identify with the line "keep me free from birth" in the George Harrison song "Give Me Love", seeing birth in the material world as gross, so being purged as a young fetus lacking sentience wouldn't bother me.
