Surprisingly, no one else has parodied this track--probably because Weird Al Yankovic "style-parodied" it with HIS track called "Germs." The "Bob" referred to here is not referring to anyone in real life (particularly my brother who happens to be named the same).

A tie? Why not? It's grist for the parody mill, but it's too slight to be in the hands of anyone but a master. Ties have a rich sartorial history. Not enough to say that one in particular is ugly. All 3s.
I learned something new today. I didn't realize that this was the song that Weird Al did a style parody of when he did the NIN-parody "Germs". This was a pretty cool parody. Minimalistic idea but you were able to flush it out pretty well into a full song.
I actually had to listen to the OS twice because the first time I was too busy singing "Germs" over top of the music...I can definitely see the connection! Your parody was really funny, as someone who has multiple ties that are questionable in style, I definitely had the conversation with my girlfriend who asked "You're not gonna wear that are you?" haha. Nice work!
(Artistry) This is a really good rant parody, Aggy. As a person who only owns one tie (I don't go to a lot of formal events as of this point in my life), so this didn't relate to me as much. Why is this guy so obsessed with ties? Why does he have such disdain for this one? It raised a lot of character questions for me (but that's just my playwright side coming out). Even though I don't know why he's acting this way, I still think it's funny that he does. Nice work!
(Artistry) "Germs" also takes cues from "Closer", particularly the opening drum beat and the detuned piano. And while TL hasn't been parodied before, I did set it's lyrics to the tune of Ace of Bases' "Beautiful Life". Cuz I'm weird like that. That all said, great parody! Trey Reznor whining about unfashionable apparel is hilarious, that is an undeniable fact. 555!
