The Lyrics

A few quick things with patrick swayze. Although he was a GREAT singer, the way he moved his legs and thighs seemed pretty gay to me when he danced. I have heard a couple of his songs, but I heard "Hungry Eyes" the most out of all of them. I little by little pieced together his thigh and leg movement and compared it to hungry eyes and one of my family members and I use it as a joke to eachother and came up with "Homi Thighs" and I decided to use it as a parody. If it needs work and if it wasn't SO good, just vote and let me know through commentation. Like "Tom Cruise as a Little Boy", you might need to listen to the real song while you are reading this because the pacing might be a little off.
I've been trying to warn you.

I've had the urge to let it all out.

I think about it trying to fantasize.

Tonight's the night,

That I am going to dance alright with these,

Homi thighs!

I look in the mirror and realize my,
Homi thighs!

I see it happen all of the time.

I wanna dance, so lets breethe it out.

I'm gonna' dance and start to pout.

Lets start now,
But tonight's the night.

Come on!
Homi thighs!

I look in the mirror and realize my,
Homi thighs!

I see it happen,
ALL of the time.

Homi thighs!

I feel really ready!
My: Homi thighs!

We need to do it on time.

I need you to dance with me,
My: Homi thighs!

I look in the mirror and realize my,
Homi thighs!

I see it all of the time because of my,
Homi thighs!

Now I'm here with you my little,
Homi thighs!

Come on stage and lets REALLY dance my,
Homi thighs!

I see it all of the time my,
Homi thighs!

What's even better is if the author listens to the OS and paces the parody to it correctly, wink. ;-) (spell-check is good, too [breathe/breethe])... Kinda hard for any male dancer not to seem a little gay, maybe, but homophobia isn't an attractive topic. However, there's another great switch here: "Horny Thighs" ... care to try that? Courtesy of moi ;-)

Another tip for new writers: Here, it's encouraged to vary your choruses, even if TOS repeats them, so you show more creativity and give us more laughs -- especially in a fairly short and repetitive song like this one.

No one said this is easy, even though it might look like it :-) ... but you've got the right idea. Not gonna vote ATM; let's see what future efforts bring. Welcome to AIR!

Yes I know, I realized that spelling error after I clicked on "send". I get the song that I want, go to youtube and then I get the song with lyrics and then pause it every phrase and see what I can make out of it. I write it all down and then copy it onto the "submit parody". After all, to make a good parody, you have to spend every single minute on it to understand what you are writing and be good at it. For "horny thighs", don't you have to put that on whatfreaks because of the sexual language of it? The thing is, I just don't want to get TOO perverted with them and over do it because of the language, but if not, I will concider something like that. Thanks! I after all did think it was a little off, but then got a little fustrated and just put what I could at the moment. That is why it wasn't THAT good. Did you look at "Tom cruise as a Little boy"? I honestly think that one was pretty good even to other commenters. You should check it out if you didn't already. It's pretty good!

This song was written by John DeNicola and Frankie Previte and performed by Eric Carmen. Swayze had nothing to do with the song except dance to it in the movie. The only song he ever sang was a song called "She's Like The Wind" which he co-wrote with Stacy Widelitz. Part of being a good parody writer is giving credit where credit is due. Pace is a bit off by the way.

Not in that way, in a way of me making fun of him, but I was right about dirty dancing. I specifically remember listening to that and after it said "By: Dirty Dancing." It mmight have been written bye them too though.
