Parody Song Title:

"In Moria"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

You must leave
Riv-en-dell

Fel-low-ship,
We wish you well

Climbing on
The mountains high

In Saruman's
Sa-dis-tic eye

He sent a storm
A bliz-zard

E-vil gift
From the White Wiz--ard

Stum-ble down
To the val-ley

To follow the under-the-mountain-mines
See how their door, in moon-light shines!

Knockin' on the door the Dwarves made --- bang, bang!
Threshold of Moria!
The threshold of Moria!
Speak "Friend" and you'll get in
Into the night...of Moria...of Moria!

It's dark, dark
Too dark to see

Gandalf must use wizardry

Stay with him
He'll guide you right

For danger waits within the night!

( hahh-ohh, hahh-ohh! )

Orcs are hunters,
You're the game!

You hear drum-beats!
You see flame!

At Khazad-dum, a fight you see!

The whip of the Balrog lashes so cruel
(The) Last words of, Gandalf, (are) --- "Fly, you fools!"

Cryin' out in calls of heartache --- "Gan-dalf !!!"
He fell in Moria!
Gandalf fell in Moria!
And thanks to, thanks to him,
You will survive...in Moria...in Moria!

Gandalf, the warrior!

( instrumental )

Wizard with the sword of glory!
(Wizard with the sword of glory!)

In Moria!
Gandalf, the warrior!
Whose sword is called Glamdring!
And thanks to, thanks to him,
You will survive...in Moria...in Moria!

Wizard with the sword of glory --- Glamdring!
Gandalf, the warrior!
He's Gandalf, the warrior!
And victory he'll find!

(Wizard with the sword of glory!)
(In Moria!)

Gandalf, the warrior!

Wizard with the sword of glory --- Glamdring!

Gandalf, the warrior!

Enjoyed this! I think we have critical mass now - someone should go through all of the LOTR parodies and assemble "LOTR - The Musical"!

I not only LOVE the OS...but I have missed fabulous LOTR themed parodies like this, Mr. D. I keep thinking that I should try to lay another one down one of these days...but alas...no luck. At least I can count on you to produce quality Middle Earth parodies...Great job!

alvin: Thanks very much!

Arwen: I had a feeling that "The Warrior" might be one of your favorite songs --- it's a strong song by a strong woman --- and strength is one of your most wonderful attributes. Thanks very much, Princess of Rivendell !

The events that took place in Moria were some of my favorite passages of LOTR. Brilliant parody, JD. 555
