The Lyrics

Don't Know The Original Song (DKTOS)? It's on YouTube.
What a mess up there on the ceiling
I must confess, I never noticed it before
Man it's hot, and I need some lotion
I wonder what's on TV, maybe "24"
I think I saw some motion
It's just the weather chimes

All these distractions
So how will I complete my work on time
I'm working from home
And I can't resist
Just doing what I want to

Out on the range I've got coffee brewing
Count my change, and nibble on a Hershey's Kiss
Call my dad, I'm tryin' out some ringtones
And I'm so glad the boss man isn't seeing this

I've got an obligation
To work from nine to five

All these distractions
It's like a magnet's drawing me online
To play Happy Farm
To order some lunch
'Cause there's so much I can do

Yes there are all these distractions
Somehow I've got to push them from my mind
But I need a drink
The dogs need a walk
The mailman just went by, too

Distractions

Should not give in to wandering attention
(So maybe) to resist is worth tryin'
'Cause I should take some action

All these distractions
I can't resist
To file my nails
To check out the sales
It's got me so distracted
So much to do
And I've just got to dust, too

All these distractions

All these distractions
What can I do?
And I think I'll go
And get another brew
There's lots on Netflix
I haven't seen
From Conan The Destroyer
To Freebie And The Bean

All these distractions
I need to get back to my work
After I brush and
After the flossin'

I'll fight off all these distractions
Focus now
Oh, there's the Avon lady

All these distractions

Rex - Exactly! That's why I seldom produce more than one parody a day. ;D

(Artistry) The motto of my International ADHD Club: Look! A squirrel! As one of the eternally distracted, I salute you!

(Artistry) To be 100% real with you, it's not your best, but it's still good. Although I liked how the randomness of the song coincides with the topic (if that's what you were going for ;) ) It just didn't make me LOL, more of small chuckles that were scattered.

(Artistry) The hard thing I'm sure was trying to come up with more and more items to listin the parody for this tune, which was way too long. No wonder it wasnt that big of a hit. What was I about to say? Oh yeah, well done!

I loved that you wrote this one as if the character had A-D-D. This was pretty hilarious!

(Artistry) Well, this parody described me to a tee, alright. Although for me it's less "distracted" and more "forgetting what I was meant to do". Great parody here, pacing was spot on, and was funny as all SQUIRREL! Ahem. 555 for you!

I respectfully disagree with it not being LOL worthy, I thought the randomness fit the character of the song personally. .it may not have the knock down drag out lines like most of your work, but it did have its own charm, and love the final distraction--the Avon lady just seemed so random--cool
