I'm still confused by the Esther thing, but I think you did a great job!
I love parodies of our music, however, this was one of our 90s songs. It still gets a 5/5/5.
Like Kristof said, the title was an immediate hook...but near the end, the line seemed to have broken and the trout was swimming away. Great job anyhow, and hope to see more of your schtuff soon! 5-4-4.
As everyone else has said: the title was brilliant, parts of the parody were brilliant, and other parts weren't. 4'd.

I actually had no idea why Madonna changed/added her name, so this was both interesting and educational for me. Well written, and good job keeping me up on current events =)
Fave line: "Like me she's an icon." Let it be known that this parody has inspired me to change my name to Nebuchadnezzar.
Good parody, but methinks Madonna should have gone with "Rahab" instead.... ;-D
Good parody that definitely conveys an air of mysticism. But, Joelle, your parody would have been a lot funnier if you had been able to incorporate Meridoc's comment.
