The Lyrics

About everyone's favorite Easter candy, marshmallow Peeps!
ADDICTED TO PEEPS

Easter sweets, they fill your home
Your diet’s completely blown
The sugar buzz gives you the shakes
Another Peep is all it takes

Every year, they’re all you eat
Your zits are 3 deep
Your pancreas will start to bleed
Another Peep is all you need

Whoa, you bought a million
‘Cause they’re sweet and they’re cheap, oh yeah
After Easter you’ll have 20 pounds you will keep
You know you’re gonna have to face it you’re addicted to Peeps

Might as well face it, you’re addicted to Peeps
Might as well face it, you’re addicted to Peeps
Might as well face it, you’re addicted to Peeps
Might as well face it, you’re addicted to Peeps
Might as well face it, you’re addicted to Peeps

Marshmallow chicks, the bunnies too
You like ‘em pink, you like ‘em blue
Explode ‘em in the microwave
Another Peep is what you crave

Whoa, you bought a million
‘Cause they’re sweet and they’re cheap, oh yeah
After Easter you’ll have 20 pounds you will keep
You know you’re gonna have to face it you’re addicted to Peeps

Might as well face it, you’re addicted to Peeps
Might as well face it, you’re addicted to Peeps
Might as well face it, you’re addicted to Peeps
Might as well face it, you’re addicted to Peeps

I didn't think this was bad at all. In fact, I thought it was pretty good.

Not bad...but I could have done without the "Your pancreas will start to bleed" line. That aside, good job!

I can't understand why people are so crazy about those damn things - Peeps and Gummy Bears. They are like sweened plastic. Give me dark chocolate coated peppermints. Your use of the original song was very appropriate. - fives.

So peeps are something like gummy bears? That's one I've missed. Guess I'm too far past the candy age. The last meaning of "peeps" that i learned wa a term fopr various species of small sandpipers.

Is something wrong with this submission form? It caused my computer to go crazy on the previous attempt to post. Now I've turned it off and back on. BTW, here (hopefully) is the corrcted version of my previous post, which the form wouldn't let me correct (I tried just clicking on "Send" to see what would happen when nothing else was working): So peeps are something like gummy bears? That's one I've missed. Guess I'm too far past the candy age. The last meaning of "peeps" that I learned was a term for various species of small sandpipers.
