Strange, I thought this was 90s. I remember the Little Mermaid movie being out in 1990, but was it around before that? I'm a bit confused.
in reply, i checked it out and found it was released in like 1989?! Yeah I thought it was the 90's before as well...
So I guess 80s is right, then. I just remember watching it on video in the summer of 1990, but I went to imdb.com and it says it was released in 1989. My bad. :D
According to IMDB.com, the movie first hit theaters in November of 1989, which was toward the very end of the decade, which is why so many people think it was from the 90s. But 80s is correct; there is no boo-boo here.
