The Lyrics

On November 25, at a press conference following the Indianapolis Colts' 40-21 loss to the 49ers, Colts' head coach Jim Mora blasted quarterback Peyton Manning for the interceptions he threw. Although the two publicly denied any riff between them, they did not speak to each other during Sunday's 39-27 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in which Manning threw a game killing interception. It was the 6th pickoff that was returned for a touchdown this year. Is Mora gone? Has Peyton lost his magic? Will Bill Polian ever find a great defense through free agency? Will RB Edgerrin James,WR Jerome Pathon, and DB Mike Peterson recover from their season ending injuriesto play in a Colts uniform again? To be continued next year.
When the Blue with their fat checks put their faces in their hands while Edgerrin sits
Mora throws some fits
The defense failed to stop someone, they can't cover receivers til the QB hits
Mora throws some fits
Peyton is a million dollar trooper
But his passing's going to the pooper
(Pooper scooper)
Come next year we'll be better and Manning will place the ball in Marvin's mitts
So Mora won't throw fits

Have you seen the Horseshoes play?
Didn't bring their game Sunday
Now they're really up Fall Creek*
I can barely take a peek
This year, the tears fans swallow
High hopes cost lots of dollars
When it was defense time
Irsian** didn't spend a dime

[repeat 1st verse]

Peyton is a million dollar trooper
But his passing's going to the pooper (Pooper scooper)
When the Blue with their fat checks put their hands in their faces while Edgerrin sits
Mora throws some fits
Mora throws some fits
Mora throws some fits
Mora throws some fits

"Voice of Jim Mora":
(Down swing, upbeat, make your kicks ***Vanderjits)
(Moan 'n' whine? Get in line! The time is right for us to fight!)
(We can win if you want Jim to coach)
(Hit...stop their rhythmn, hard, not sloppy)
(I wantcha to hit)
(Throwin' it on, runnin' it on, catchin' it on the F-I-T-S, how's 'bout you an' me, says)
(Gotta play) (Gotta win)

(When the Blue with their fat checks put their faces in their hands while Edgerrin sits)
(Mora throws some fits...)

* Fall Creek is a body of water a few miles from the RCA Dome, the Colts' home (so far).** 'Irsian' is a derivative of Colts' owner Jim Irsay and Colts' president Bill Polian.*** 'Vanderjits' is Colts placekicker Mike Vanderjagt, who (like his punter friend Hunter Smith), struggles with kickoffs even though he's the most accurate placekicker in NFL history.
