"Drought"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

drought...drought
dry in the spout
rain ain't a thing we can live without
come on...there's not even dew...come on

in summer time
its barren at the water hole
its black with mites
they really ought to sow these clouds some time
the crops are hot and cooking, boy
kiss them goodbye
if it would rain i'd jump for joy
if it would rain i'd jump for joy

drought...drought
dry in the spout
rain ain't a thing we can live without
come on...there's not even dew...come on

rain gives us life
but when we burn
its hot as hell
and that ain't nice
i hope we live, though crops may fail
i hope we live, though crops may fail

drought...drought
dry in the spout
rain ain't a thing we can live without
come on...there's not even dew...come on

the sun is bearing down so hard
and it could roast your mind
i'd really love for rain to start
i'd really love for rain to start

drought...drought
dry in the spout
rain ain't a thing we can live without
come on...there's not even dew...come on

Can't stand Tears for Fears, but this was good. All I know is, for three years now, New Jersey and New York have had MUCH more rain than usual. But, if you really like it wet, I know a good place in Louisiana you might like.

I liked it...=)

It's definitely been drier than usual in my part of the country for quite a while now. I might have to move to New Jersey.

They say it's not raining enough in Britain at the moment - I thought you written this about that at first, but it could easily apply. Ever noticed, whatever weather we have, it's always the wrong type. 555.
