I went on a tour of northern India for two weeks with eighteen Singaporeans. I'm an American, but I lived in Singapore for a few years many years ago. The Singaporean self-image is greedy and cheap -- summed up in their word for themselves: "kia su" -- afraid to lose. The song contains S'porean slang and patois.
