Parody Song Title:

"It's Called Food Addiction"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Pigging out since he left the womb,
Wears super size pants, don't you know.
Eatin' at picnics (all day oh)
Then callin' out for some Dominoes.

Eats that margarine by the mile,
Has tea and honey when upset.
Stays in denial (all day oh)
He sinks his teeth into Tagamet.

He's real ripe for that sandwich hype says:
Hold the mayo, hold the mayo,
It's called food a-ddic-tion.

He makes waitresses run for days,
So much food piles it up on the floor.
On the food he grooves (all day oh)
Then with a wink, goes and orders more.

Thinks he's cool how he pricks the cooks,
He likes his food ordered on demand.
When the mustard zings (no mayo)
We're talking 'bout food a-ddic-tion.

Hits the skids supermarket place says:
Where's the mayo? where's the mayo?
It's called food a-ddic-tion.

Get some meat off the street, road kill snack,
Cut an arm then he pulls it back.
Fries in lard, and so (adds mayo)
Now slice that roast a la Cadillac.

In and out all day he pops,
He knows the routes to the donut shops
It's food romance (all day oh)
Eats some grub, then go take stock.

He likes fries with cheese and chicken,
Food he enjoys is his gremlin.
And Chinese to go, (buffet-oh)
He's got the signs of a-ddic-tion.

The band name is spelled Bangles. Bengals are tigers, also the cincinnati football team. I know they're homophones, so please be careful not to confuse them in the future.

Yea, ... But what is your vote? Good job, Guy....fun song.

Geez, people are more concerned with decades and typos than the song itself.

yes indeed, I got nailed by the three dot spelling police. Enjoy the song or not folks. Let a person make an honest mistake sometimes, OK?

Did you call me "Three Dot Spelling Police"?

You know, at least this anal-ipsis person is attempting a humorous tone about it. I'll say that much. Still bugs me, though. Nice job Guy.

Guy...we seem to be on the same wavelength regarding two songs today...Walk Like An Egyptian and Solitary Man. Never can tell...;)

Yeah, I've been doing this a lot lately. It happened with Phil two days in a row on subject. Some seem to think this was some kind of a contest for votes. I don't do that. I write because I enjoy it and I am extremely extroverted. I would rather write one song well than a dozen for votes and numbers anytime. Sometimes my creativity is high and I write a lot of songs at once, but only when I can make them worth something.

Guy, I write for quality and when the inspiration hits me, too. What contest? Ain't none.
