The Clash's documentary was Westway To The World - this ought to be a way to the West? Good one!
Great job, Susanna. The lighting of the beacons of Gondor in The Return of The King was one of my favorite parts of the entire trilogy of LOTR movies --- the cinematography and the music of that sequence made watching it a thrillingly emotional experience. Peter Jackson dramatically conveyed the awesome, immense distance the beacon-relay covered. The beacons of Gondor were lit by hardy, ever-vigilant soldiers standing sentinel on cold mountain slopes and summits, one after another, in a relay that lasted all through the night and into the following day. Brilliant and emotional visual storytelling at its best!
A good portion of Tolkien has songs within the LotR. I believe this song could easily become part of all of the original songs quite well. It has a dignity and grace that makes it seem like this is a fitting tribute rather than an actual parody. Well written, excellent pacing, and a fluid-like poetry make this song you've written worthy of 555.
It was pretty good. It does a sufficient job. However Phoney Sarumania I'm not sure is all that good a term, perhap other retarded made up words like Ridonkulous, or fanticulous. Or write down the Bob the Builder song. Telatubbies would work just as well.
