The Lyrics

Don't...even...TRY to make sense of this, if you are not a fan of what is and forever shall be the greatest video game RPG, Shining Force.
Hey, uh huh
Hey, uh huh

Shining Force is so cool
Played it all night
Video game RPG
Never seen a game so tight
Yeah

With my troops I will have no fear
Looks like Mae is hurt
Gotta get Lowe here
I'm in Rune
Promoted and level 2

Nova gives me advice
Use it on the battlefield
I go attack, then run back, then I'll get Gong to heal
Yeah

Gonna use Blaze level 3 here
Sneak up and then attack them from the rear
Get good stats
Promoted too early, rats
Shining Force is so cool
Other games are a drool

Hey

Look, Durahans ambushed
Well, that is no trouble
With the help of Domingo
They'll be trapped in Muddle
Yeah

Gotta lose Ken and get Pelle
Now I'll use Freeze level 2 with Anri
Ramladu
Your robots killed half my troops
I'll make a stew out of you
With carrots and mushrooms too

Shining Force is so cool
Shining Force is so cool
Shining Force is so cool
Shining Force is so cool

Hey, uh huh
Hey, uh huh
Hey, uh huh, hey

Why the 3 fives? Cause I've played (and LOVED) every game in the "ShinIng Force" series to death! It's a shame that SEGA(So Everyone Goes Away)had to leave the console business to just producing games for other companies. It was an even bigger shame that Shining force 3"s first(of 3) parts was released in the U.S. without the other two parts! (It's kinda like watching "Star Wars" and being told that you have to build your own movie theater and then buy your own prints of "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi"to see the sequals" Later!

I only have the original. I beat Shining Force several times. I also have little tricks that you can do at http://hometown.aol.com/toptrig12/myhomepage/profile.html And, YES, that is a picture of me. I looked so ugly in September. :-)

I recently started a new game in Shining Force, and my little brother found a way to play through the whole game without the original five (Tao, Lowe, Ken, Luke, and Hans) even joining. You manipulate the guy who lost his cart and push him between the guards. Then, walk through. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I am now on the battle to Manarina with only Khris, Gong, Mae, Gort, and myself. The advantage is that you will end up really strong.

Neat parody! But I like Shining Force 2 better.

Good parody! A fitting tribute to a worthy strategy RPG series. I'm familiar with the Shining Force games on the Sega Genesis (my favorite is 2), but I prefer SNES games overall. In fact, the name I use on this site is from Olvan Jaess, the dwarf warrior from the SNES RPG "7th Saga."
