Well, I've been around but I ain't never seen a guy who looks like a lizard but he's short and he's green, oh my Yoshi. Yo- Yo- Yo- Yo- Yoshi
And I can't understand (even though I'm not dumb) how he can eat just what he wants just by flicking his tounge, oh my Yoshi, Yo- Yo- Yo- Yo- Yoshi. Yo- Yo- Yo- Yo- Yoshi.
Well, the princess was captured just a week before, and I've never, ever beat Bowser before. But Yoshi here he said he'd help me out. He said "I'll show what this game's all about".
So I hopped on his back and he gave me a ride, and when I get to Bowser's fort I'm gonna go inside, a-with my Yoshi. Yo- Yo- Yo- Yo- Yoshi. Yo - Yo- Yo- Yo- Yoshi.

So we went to work. He ate up some guys. He spit out some fire. Oh, I bonked on his head. But I won't forget what Toadstool said:

"I know that Bowser's really got you annoyed, but you know if you kill him we'll all be filled with joy" Oh my Yoshi. Yo- Yo- Yo- Yo- Yoshi.
Well, Bowser's in this castle really making a mess. So I'm gonna have to leave Yoshi I guess. But I know that I'll be back when I beat him. Boswer's future is really looking grim. I'll knock down this castle with my koopa shell, and then the Princess and I will be able to tell about-a Yoshi, Yo- Yo- Yo- Yo- Yoshi. Yo- Yo- Yo- Yo- Yoshi.
