More gun control not good for the nation
Enforcing existing laws a sane solution
Instead of vilifying good (gun-owning) citizens

DEMs want to comfort victims, but in a bad way
Have good intentions
But new laws would only make the lawful pay
Not the way, to deter sick felons

All of the recent mass murderers with AR-15 clones had no criminal backgrounds nor were barred from gun ownership due to mental illness, so they could have bought a firearm legally even with Universal Background checks, even at a gunshow!!! Mental illness in relationship to firearm purchases is valid and THAT should be focased on- not making law-abiding gun owners pay for what a psycho does. Common sense really. And responsible gun owners SHOULD lock up their guns AND their ammo to keep them out of reach of children and unstable relatives. But even then, felons will ALWAYS find a way to get a firearm no matter what.

The truly dangerous are often ignored, even when family members report them. Under Obama care, objecting to Obamacare, as well as simply wanting to own a gun, will be defined as "mental illness".

Not only do we live in a nation of violence but in a world of violence, so specific types of gun bans and universal background checks are irrelevent. In nations that limit guns or ban them, the criminal element still has them or else uses machetes, knifes, poison, etc to kill. Violence is violence in whatever form. Some cultures promote it and others oppose it, but it still persists. Gun legislation in America is already overloaded with laws so we don't need more of them- just real enforcement, better education, and more devotion to helping the truly mentally ill IMHO...
