I've heard that JAB lives in Cali like me, so he'd probably get this. But if you don't, let me explain. Gov Jerry Brown has gone crazy with chart usage at his press conferences lately and everyone is calling him the "Chartman." He did it recently with the state budget and the charts were everywhere. Brown struggled to explain and then raised one above his head for emphasis! After nearly 25 minutes another official came out (a man in glasses) to explain them! Jack Ohman of the Sacramento Bee made fun of him with a chart cartoon which was hilarious. But Brown then did it again with the draught situation in California and again held a chart over his head for emphasis! It's now fun to watch Brown go into action with the charts- keeps the political cartoonists busy and is the talk of Sacramento. Brown also has caused controversy over his eco-car, highspeed rail, and even his corgi dog "Sutter." I'm a REP but voted for Brown and will again. I remember him when he was Gov during the draught of the 1970s. i delivered the Bee and Jerry was smokin' in his learjet with Linda Rondstat. I admired him then and now as he gave Cali a surplus and has things pretty much handled. The new REP challenger has nothing on him, just a call for more jobs and schooling... which Brown is already busy with. I'm a redspot in a sea of blue, but Jerry's alright with me. His old landboat '74 Plymouth Satellite is in a car museum downtown too :)
