New life for old action figures and toy space ships. I sure hope this version is better than the second fourth episode. The first fourth episode in 1977 still remains the best.

J.J. Abrams has revised the SW series with more villains who are not exactly aligned with the Empire nor the New Republic. The Rebels are fighting on several fronts against Stormtroopers, Inquisitors, and Sith who number more than two at one time. Sorta like WW2 with Germany. Relationship storylines revised too. No wife or kids for Luke. He's like old Ben... a hermit, but one who is psychologically damaged.

Anakin's massacre of the creatures holding his mother as a slave was potentially the best moment of the second fourth or the second first "Star Wars", and had it been released in 1977 would have been shown blow by blow. Political correctness reduced this scene to a couple seconds of emotional drain after the fact. Just one of the many things wrong with that film. Hope the next installment is better. As I recall, Lucas originally planned for nine movies.
