A silly parody inspired by Matthias' parody "Crazy Ninja Squirrels !!!" I usually do the shorter version of OTRA, but extended this one a bit...

(Set in lovely San Francisco)

Ninja squirrels offend
Came by freighter all the way from Japan
Heard a commotion goin' on in my trash cans
My Akita, Kikka, wants to devour them!

Usin' sharp tuna lids as shuriken
Climbin' laundry lines stealthily from end-to-end
My Akita, Kikka, wants to devour them!

Ninja Squirrels offend
Balls of fur eatin' nuts in branches way up high
Had the dog howlin'
Grabbed my Savage and sent some shot their way,
much to their dismay, on a BBQ I'm roastin' 'em!!!

Critter dinner all the way from Japan
Had enough and went Samurai* on them
No Jujutsu moves while dyin' bein' skinned
And oh yeah, faithful Kikka DID get fed!!!

What's that over yonder?
Damn Chinese raccoons at my back window lookin' in!!!
When in God's name will this plague
of foreign critters end???

* yes, both Ninja and Samurai carried Euro-inspired or imported black powder pistols when available, same for blunderbuss

Those Japanese squirrels had better stay away from Kansas. Concealed carry of handguns without a permit takes effect July 1, but shuriken (ninja throwing stars) remain illegal in this State. By the way, are those Argentinian parrots that escaped from the cargo plane in the 1960's still roosting in San Francisco?

Not sure about the source of the SF Argie parrots or parakeets (cotorras?). I know several pet stores had fires and birds escaped, but don't remember any cargo plane incident. In Chicago, at O'Hare, some birds got loose on the ground in a handling mishap! Most big cities around the globe have foreign birds and animals loose. Many exotic pet owners just let them go over time. Some have resulted in new species like the Pumapard in the UK!
