Parody Song Title:

"Pope's on the Move Again"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Pope Francis in America... yawn...!!!
Pope's on the move again
In a Fiat waving his papal hand
I'm so sick of continuous coverage on CNN
Can't wait until he's back at the Vatican!

Pope's on the Move again
Kissing babies and little children
Oh for God's sake- he is just a man
Can't wait until he's back at the Vatican!

Pope's on the Move again
Holding Mass and giving homilies everyday
To the Catholic clans
Insisting that the faithful hear the words he says
Pious trends, and then a unified AMEN!!!

In the Popemobile (Jeep Wrangler) often
Won't be happy until he's in Italy again
Holy See, please, God please, DO let it end!!!

When the Pope said mass in Philadelphia, 800,000 attended peacefully and safely. At the same time 700 Iranian pilgrims were trampled to death during the Hajj in Mecca. Not the first time something like this has happened. The Pope radiates peace and goodwill. If only he would get some basic education in economics and start telling the truth that the way to help the poor is to promote capitalism. Until something is produced, it can't be given away.

The death toll is now over 1100, Patrick and maybe 30% of the deaths are Iranians. All of these tragedies keep happening at Mina -- where the Hajj pilgrims do the stoning of the devil on the last day of the Hajj. There's got to be something wrong about the lay out of Mina -- too many people needing to squeeze into too small of a space in too short a time. Two million must do this task in the course of one day or they dont complete the Hajj. And the fact that they are literally attacking evil itself may get the pilgrims too amped up.

Perhaps some engineer could redesign the layout. But I can't see them calling in a Western firm. Would a Muslim engineer feel comfortable altering a tradition, even though it seems to cause a lot of bloody mayhem? I find it hard to call a place that produces such violence "sacred". Only a slight degree of difference from an Aztec altar or Mayan sacrificial temple. Or the gladiator arena of ancient Rome. I'm trying to picture someone getting the assignment to figure out how two million people can throw rocks at the same time, safely.

They're not rocks that are thrown; they are pebbles, so the stoning is symbolic. And only a few hundred people can do it at any one time, but there's the problem. You have to shoehorn 2 million people into this place in 24 hours. And compounding the problem is that it was very hot in Mecca that day, over 110. So hundreds of thousands of people were very frantic to complete the ritual before midday. That would create a tremendous crowd control problem
