The Lyrics

Happy 4th of July!!!
They’ll explode again
Don’t want those lame smoke bombs, They’re crap
Instead I’ll launch off sticks of TNT and then
I’ll wind up in the hospital again

Make them blow again
Bought ten cases off the black market
Spreading flames that might just turn my house to ash
But at least I get to run the show again

Spending dough again
I am such a Pyro on this 4th of July day
Rockets heaven sent
Existing to make the sky a grand display
No dismay

Cause they’ll explode again
I’ve got a truck filled, I’ll unload all them
I’ll light them up and dodge the sparks from the fountains
Hair might get singed but it is so worth it

They’ll explode again
Think I’m going crazy blasting them off in my driveway
Once impressed my friends
Now I’m scaring them as I shoot more into space
Melts their face

With my assortment
My neighbors called the fire department
The types I love will leave huge craters in the land
And I won’t quit till I blow off my hand
I need to watch them all explode again!

Matthias - At the risk of sounding like a bad critic with limited verbal skills..."explosive!"..."dynamite!"..."shattering!"..."pure nitro!" In this case, however, the adjectives are appropriate. May I add "A Bang-Up Job!" ;D

I once used to love blowing things up real good. Now, I cringe when I see inebriated men 10 years my senior get this wicked gleam in their eye with a bottlerocket in hand one and a punk-stick in the other. Should have been gorier for maximum effect, but still 555, and Happy July 4th to you!

Spent the weekend selling them, never get to shoot them anymore. The crowds really start showing up just after the municipal ordnance says you can't shoot them anymore.

(Artistry) I always find it amusing that you 'mericans spend the 4th of July blowing crap up in the name of America (which is all about blowing crap up last time I checked) while in my house we're goin; "Happy birthday, dear Mu-um" :D Great parody, maybe the singer is Michael Bay before he got his hands on a camera? 555 firecrackers for you!

(Artistry) Singed hair, melting faces, hand blown off? Sounds like a perfect 4th! Fun idea and you fired it off well.

This one was. . .what it was, a 4th of July parody, however removing that one line would actually make it work for New Years too, or most baseball games or a night at Disney. . .goes on and on really
